            This dealership accepted a vehicle on a trade in without the required signatures. I was told that the dealership had not finalized anything because they did not have the title. After that conversation I went to retrieve my vehicle from the lot. I was contacted the next day by the used car manager ****. **** informed me that I had 2 options. I could keep my vehicle, if I paid $54k or I could sign off of the title. Those are the options he gave me, he then insisted that if I did not bring them back the vehicle that they would take legal actions against me. When I brought up that the dealership never should have accepted the vehicle, **** fed me some line about not needing to see the title because of needing to file for lost titles.. Its obviously that the vehicle has a title considering the dealership rolled the loan over from the vehicle. Therefore it cannot be said that the dealership did not know that there was a title or that there were two names on the title.

            Rarely do I take the time and effort to write a review of anything. If I do, it is usually to provide positive feedback and promote a product I love. In this case, I am taking the time and effort to write a negative review because the matter involves something of importance and something rather expensive. With that in mind, here are my thoughts. Occurrences during my recent vehicle purchase that negatively shaped my opinion of Kline Volvo: • Sales did not disclose that the vehicle only had one key fob and second one would cost me $400. In fact, when this information was ascertained and I stated I should have a discount and asked why they did not disclose the missing fob, their response was, “You didn’t ask.” Fair, but deceptive and not the best customer service. It left me with the question of what else were they hiding? • Sales was also purposely dishonest about paperwork informing me that one document stated that, by signing, I would be acknowledging that Kline Volvo would not disclose my personal information to any third parties when, in fact, the document clearly stated that their intention was to disclose my personal information to third parties. • When I collected my vehicle, the new tabs which I purchased from the dealership were neither applied to the plates or given to me. I needed to return later when I noticed the error. • The vehicle I purchased was used and sales informed that it had been inspected and I was told the vehicle was in great shape without any issues. When I had the vehicle inspected by a third party, it was discovered that the air and cabin filters had probably never been replaced, the rear brakes were in need of replacement and the windshield was beginning to crack. I tested the waters by bringing up the crack in the windshield. Kline never followed up on the matter. • Repeatedly, Kline Volvo spelled my name wrong on documents and my name is not even complicated. I needed to go over everything three times to make sure there were no errors.
