BBB Warns Recipients Not to Click on Links or Attachments
The Better Business Bureau has issued a warning about a new round of phishing emails with an ominous tone. The fake emails claim to be from the BBB and tell recipients that they are “violating the Fair Labor Standards Act,” the “Safety and Health Act,” or other federal laws.The emails are designed to get the recipients to click on a link, which may then download malware that can infect their computers, steal passwords, or hack companies' records.
