FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Vancouver, BC - The school year only has a couple of months left and that means thousands of BC grade twelve students are planning their graduation ceremonies. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for them so the last thing they want is for a scammer to rob them and their family of any money saved for the special event.
Graduation ceremonies and the dinners that follow need to be organized well in terms of pick-up, flower availability. Other aspects like photography, limousines and clothing need to be set up, often months in advance.
“It’s not just scammers BBB wants to protect graduates from,” says Evan Kelly, Senior Communications Advisor for BBB serving Mainland BC. “We want them to research reputable businesses that are run well, with good reviews so their evening isn’t marred by organizations that aren’t.”
