    Sunny from RANA gave us quotation for replacing our gutter in August 2023. It was $3000 including tax and one extra downspout, and could be paid by check! Our plan was tearing down old gutter, painting whole house and facial board, then installing new gutter. *** *** ****** ** ***** ***** ** **** **** *** ******* ** **** ** *** ** *** ***** **** ** **** ********* ** *** ** *** ***** ** ***** We accepted the deal because the painters were already arranged to work so no time to find another gutter company. Our gutter was taken down in the end of August. The painting was delay because of the precious rain in Vancouver. Sunny installed new gutter on September 11 & 12,2023. On September 12, I paid $3000 in cash as he requested and asked him to sign on my receipt for the warranty he promised. I didn’t check carefully before I paid because I’v got ******** during the time. ** **** **** *** ****** ** ***** ** ***** On the next day, I poured water from balcony drains to check the gutter and found the leaking so bad. I checked the gutter around the house and found part of the downspout from the roof was missing! My ******* texted and called Sunny a few times about all problems. We asked him to fix on Monday September 18 and he only texted back the happy face. Since he didn’t show up on Monday, my ******* showed him the receipt he signed and told him we were going to report to *** if he didn’t come to fix the problems by Friday noon! Sunny texted around 10:30AM Friday he would come but he would charge extra if it was my fault. Sunny came by noon of Friday September 22 and fixed the leaking gutter for my balcony. But he refused to replace the missing downspout even we already showed him the picture of our old gutter! He said ***** ** ** ******** Sunny showed my ******* he deposited the $3000 cash in account and told my ******* he would get in trouble if he report ***. We felt been ******* for being ******* and *** ******* ******** to file complain.
