    I booked my SUV in for servicing the A/C. There was a factory recall on passenger air bag to be replaced. I agreed to have both services to be done at the same time. The service advisor, advised me the next day that there was a crack on the dash next to the airbag. I explained to him that there was no cracks on the dash before bringing the vehicle in. He replied they haven't worked on replacement of the air bag yet due to this crack. I found it very odd that a crack would suddenly show up. I sent him pictures I took of the interior of the dash before bringing it in for service. Elton replied he had seen the crack in the driveway when I dropped the vehicle for servicing but said nothing at the time. ????The service advisor Elton and service manager Jason insisted they did not cause this crack but my pictures beg differently. Jason says the pictures will not show the crack but it is clear there is no crack in the pictures. I also spoke with Jim M******* and he didn't even care about looking into the matter and claims he will not accept any responsibility for the damages that were caused by his employees. I have contacted ** ****** to open a case file as well in this matter.

    I want to add why the dealership opt out in replacing the defective air bag as a recall from ** ****** and release the vehicle knowingly it's unsafe to drive with a passenger on board ! This is not safe practices.

    The customer was ask if we could replace the air bag and refuse to have it done, we also told the customer that we note and called him before we start the repair on his vehicle to replace the air bag that the dash had a crack in it.we are very sorry that the customer thinks we cracked his dash but it was cracked before, and we did not work on the air bag as customer refused us to do the repair, as noted on work order that customer signed.
