I purchased a $500 Gift certificate from a charity silent auction for Rakes and Ladders in May 2023. We had many issues with them from the lack of communication to poor workmanship. The communication was so slow and we would wait weeks and months without responses. Even our last request to fix their mistakes and work that they didn't complete has gone unanswered for 4 months even after sending it to multiple contacts at the company. The work that was done in June was very poorly done and scarred our plants which looked dry and dead over the whole summer and some still haven't recovered. My wife does a better job than this but it is hard for her to do it anymore. There are some items promised that didn't even get done. They literally spent maybe a couple hours and left. They didn't even inform us that they were here or when they completed the job. I have correspondence that has more details but I am limited with what I can post here. I would like a refund of our $500 certificate that we bought as I have lost confidence that they can resolve this situation as they obviously don't seem to have any desire or urgency to finish the job at our place, since they donated the certificate to the auction and we aren't big customers.
