Epic Homes, **** ****. Run away people! Last year I purchased a new home from Epic Homes. It’s been 13 months and it is still not complete. Honestly it has been a very trying experience. The sales team really didn’t show any interest until checks were due. The house was delivered 2 months late. When we pulled up to do the walk through I noticed the front of the house wasn’t done correctly, they put on the wrong siding and left pieces unfinished. Epic Homes tried to convince me that it was “good enough”. At that point I knew who I was dealing with. Epic Homes promised ******* *** appliances but they delivered us an ******** ******* stove and quoted their bias contract that allowed them to do whatever they wanted. The showhome had lovely lighting and we got builder grade crap. The show home’s deck was 2 feet wider & 2 feet longer then all decks in the development. There are no coincidences in life. Their customer service department is a nightmare to work with, extremely chaotic, unorganized and **** ** ********** **** *** ** **** *** **** ****** At a certain point you get tired of repeatedly asking them to finish your house so I asked why I had to keep asking to get the same deficiencies done over and over… I got a response from the service manager Ryan C*******, and he quoted policy and was not going to fix my deficiencies. I went to the office and Ryan C******* the customer service manager actually told me he didn’t like my attitude and tone. I have never been treated so unprofessionally by any customer service department in my life. **** **** ** ***** *** *** **** **** ** *** ******** **** ** ******** ******* *** ******** ** ****** *** **** ***** ** *** ******* ** *** ********** Buying a house from Epic Homes was an extremely negative experience I would not recommend them as a developer unless you enjoy sending epic amounts of emails and continuously begging to get your house completed.
