    I took my 2002 ***** ******* van to Mastercare automotive to have the Drivers seat repaired. It had broken as I was driving home on Hwy 99. I was assured by Ilham *** that he could repair my vehicle. He asked that I leave it with him. I left the vehicle with him, took transit home. Ilham *** called me and stated that he would need my vehicle for a bout 3 days as he needed to find a replacement seat. I agreed. It took over a week, I had to rely on transit to get around. Weeks passed, I called Mastercare Automotive and Ilham *** informed me that he had an accident with my seat as he was repairing it. He asked me to come to his shop and he would explain. Wet I arrived at Mastercare automotive, Ilham *** informed me that he accidentally destroyed (Burnt) my seat. After many weeks, he finally had a replacement--- wrong seat Months passed, I called, now he had another seat to replace the one he destroyed, turs=ns out, it too was not the correct seat, wrong color, most or all of the functions (Air bag deployment,Seat Belts) did not work. A year has passed and still no resolution, none of the functions the drivers set did not work, wrong seat. Mastercare assured me again that he would get the correct seat and that he would call me when he got the correct set. That was a year later, still not replaced, functions still not working. I contacted **** and ***** Canada to inquire about the Drivers seat in my Van. I was told by both that the drivers seat was the most important seat in the vehicle. Again, I contacted Mastercare, Ilham *** assured me that he had the correct seat, as it turned out, he tried taking wires off the seat that he had found and tried re-wiring the seat, it did not work. Two (2) years had passed, no word from Mastercare, I called and Ilham *** indicated that he would call him me in a week and he would have the correct seat. No call from Mastercare, The year ended. It was three years in April of this year. WasI too trusting?

    Took my 2014 *** truck into Mastercare Automotive to get the oils changed in brakes, front and rear differentials and the transmission. A few months later while hauling my 18' trailer to Kamloops the trucks transmission started acting up, like not going up any hills. I took it to a transmission shop in Kamloops. They replaced the transmission with a rebuilt and told me that the wrong oil was put in the transmission. It's supposed to be red not CLEAR. $6,000.00

    Unfortunately i do not recall this customer as no one has called us about this case. We have a large clientele base and we take pride in meeting the needs of our customers. If the individual had contacted us we would have made sure that.matter would have been taken care of. Also a side note … when we work on vehicles that come into our shop only the recommended fluids for the vehicle are used. Customers are free to contact us anytime.
