March 02, 2022 My husband was denied for a period of three months access to a medivac from Hazelton BC (northwest). He was told to drive himself to Vancouver with his heart rate at 27 beats per minute. We stayed the first night at Williams Lake and pulled into Speedy Petey's 15 Minute Express Oil Change 1268 Broadway Ave South, Williams Lake BC. V2G-1A2. The attendant was told we wanted an oil change. He asked if we wanted the other fluids topped up. Like other oil changes, we wanted our washer fluid topped up, and if anything was low let us know. He brought back a sample of the transmission fluid stating that we didn't want to take a chance and that it really needed to be changed. He relayed the price to us numerically 269 so we anticipated that we were paying $269.00 for the entire service with tax. He didn't say it was going to cost you a thousand dollars. We were presented with a service bill of $971.85. I attended at ***** ******** *** and I learned today that none of the fluids I paid for in March 02, 2022, had been swapped out for new ones. The manager of the ***** ******** *** at 2713 Ware Street took samples of my fluids and told me I should report this to the better business of BC. On their ****** website, they state that they are BBB-rated and certified. *** ********* ***** ****** **** ** ** **** ******* **** **** *** ************* *** **** **** ****** ******* ** ******* ************ They said I should also report it to the police as they even overcharged the cost of my synthetic oil.
