My daughter purchased a wedding gown December 15, 2022. Dress came in March 2023. At that time the dress did not fit and my daughter was told it was just a little tight and a seamstress could always put in a corset to make the dress fit and that they sold the corset in the store. At no time did they explain to my daughter that would alter the entire appearance of the dress.. It took until July to get an appt with a highly recommended seamstress. At that appt the seamstress said the only way to make the dress fit was to add the corset ,again which changed the entire appearance of the dress. The dress was over 3 inches away from fitting. The seamstress said had my daughter gained that much weight non of her clothes would fit. We called Regiss and was told their was nothing they could do except take our new dress and give us the try on model from the store and that they would not fix any repairs needed to the dress or pay to have it cleaned. That is not acceptable the dress was dirty and had pulled places in it. I have emailed the manager 3 times with 1 reply from her stating she would look into my complaint and get back with me. She had never contacted me again even after I have given her the opportunity to do so. I have copy of all the emails as I will not call the store due to not having a paper trail. I even have the measurements on the order they made and the size chart from the dress designer of which proves the measurements taken and the wrong size dress has been ordered from the beginning. I am seeking a refund of the cost of the dress plus shipping charges a total of $1,683.28. I also have copies of the order with size measurements on it. I understand we signed a contract that says no returns or exchanges but we were under the understanding they would order the correct size to start with. Thank you for any and all your help.
