This is NOT a place to live for Seniors. I was given an eviction notice just because I took a Christmas tree that sat in the hallway to my apartment to decorate it because I had Covid and cannot decorate it in the hallway. As a result I was accused of stealing the tree and given an eviction notice. I placed the tree back in the hallway. When I took the tree I sent a text message to another tenant to let them know that I had it and why. How can this in anyway be considered "Enhancing the lives of Seniors. At one time we were allowed to put unwanted items on a table so if someone else needs it or wants it they can take it for free but that was stopped. However an individual that did not live there was allowed to sell furniture out of the game room. The very person that stopped us from putting things out for free allowed this furniture to be sold. Why? I guess it was so She could buy a couch and other things for a fraction of what it would have cost at a furniture store. Tenants would put unopened food items on the table. I tried talking to staff about this and her reply to me was "It's not are responsibility to make sure the tenants have something to eat. To me that showed me right then what type of company they are. From what I have seen and personally experienced I consider the Seniors there are being emotionally abused. If you do exactly what they tell you to do you won't have anything to worry about but if not you will pay a high price. I got an eviction notice over a Christmas tree but yet a tenant was swing a hammer at some of the tenants in the common area because she was offended at something someone Said. A hammer is considered a deadly weapon and yet she wasn't given an eviction notice. They tell you what you can and cannot wear in the common area. Tenants are at least 62 years of age. Regardless of what goes on in a Christian Care Communitiy facility no one will step in to Intervene because it's a privately owned company.
