              I purchased a sump pump Model M53 Product # ********** About 10-11 months ago. and had a plumber put it in. Total cost was $400. it lasted only 8 months. On May 19, 2023 I wrote to the company and explained this. I had damage in my basement because it stopped working. It also damaged all my holiday decorations. I also sent them pictures of the pump so they could see the condition it was in . I had to have the plumber put in another pump in, costing me another $450, since theirs stopped working. I have waited to hear from them, but no email or phone call. I am looking for at least the cost of the pump. When I purchased the building the pump in was a home depot pump with worked better then thet one I purchased from them.

              I purchased a Zoeller M53 sump pump in April of 2022 and it failed on August 20, 2022 causing flooding and damage in my basement. I spoke with a Zoeller representative and he could offer no explanation and told me to return it to Ace Hardware for a replacement. My insurance adjuster wants the old pump and I’m waiting for Ace to approve me keeping the old pump and giving me a replacement. Reading other reviews it seems Zoeller has a quality issue they should address and possibly a recall is warranted.
