I am a 26 year old woman, looking for a used car. On Thursday May 19th I came across a car that was in my price range. I called the dealership to see if the car was still their, since I lived an hour away. The salesman that answered, kept hounding me and kept trying to make me buy something way out of my price range. I work two jobs, and are going to college to better myself. I decided to go to the dealership and test drive the car. When I test drove the car ** ********* noticed the car was making a weird noise. I told the car salesman I wasn’t interested unless they fixed the issue. He tried to sale me the car that was unsafe for myself. The car ended up needing a ball joint replacement. So I ended up getting my credit pulled along with my farther credit for a co-signer. Because my interested would be to high without him on the car. The dealership would not let me take the car without my *** signature as he lives 12 hours away even though I was signing paperwork for myself. So I had to put a deposit down until they got the paperwork back from my father, so they wouldn’t sale the car to someone else . They reassured me if anything happened and I ended up not being able to purchase the vehicle I would get my $500 dollars back. Circumstances changed and I wasn’t able to get the vehicle. I called the salesman back and he told me they changed their policy and I wasn’t able to get my money back. I feel they are taking advantage of me, and stealing money.
