Review from Brenda M

A wonderful experience for my son's baseball team....we hired 2 Vets to transport the boys to the opening ceremonies of their week-long baseball tournament--what a treat for them! The driver, Mr. *******, was on time and even stayed to watch some of the fun. The team name is Stewartstown Young Vets, so it was a perfect match. The limo was huge and clean and the boys had a blast.Review from Ashley H

In September 2018, I used 2 Vets and a Limo for my wedding. It was a disaster. The reason I am writing so late is because I decided after trying to work out my issues and potentially sue this company, I decided to let the matter go. However, today I saw they have a ******* available with “positive” reviews, and I feel my story should be heard. In September 2018, I worked out a price with this company - $1,000 total - and gave them the details of everything I needed that day, in addition to paying in advance. They started my wedding day by calling me and telling me I had to pay their mandatory gratuity (20%) before they would even let us on the party bus, so I had to have my dad run the money down to the hotel lobby to satisfy them. We were supposed to be picked up from the hotel (groomsmen first and then bridal party second) to a nearby park for our first look. After the park, they were to take us to a location right near the park (close enough to walk but walking wasn’t preferred in heels and nice attire). After the first look, we went to get on the party bus to go to the next location, and the driver/bus had disappeared. Apparently, they left to go to a nearby gas station, but they were gone for about 45 mins. We all had to walk to the next location to take pictures, and while taking pictures, we were all just worried if they were going to show back up to take us to the church for our wedding. It made the day so much more stressful. Eventually, after 45 minutes of being MIA, they finally showed back up. We got to the church and then the reception venue after. The driver of the party bus said they would pick us up around 11:30pm that night. After the wedding, the driver was nowhere in sight. We called and called and couldn’t get ahold of anyone. No one showed up to take us back to the hotel where the bridal party’s cars were and where we were staying. We all had to find a ride or walk back to the hotel (over a mile walk in nice attire). They ended up calling me while we were already back to the hotel, and I remembered them apologizing, but their services throughout the day were so horrendous, it almost ruined my day if I had let it. Later down the rode, I contacted them about my experience and asked for some kind of refund. I was then told that my guests made their driver take them to a nearby bar, which was not the case at all. I asked everyone who left at or around 11:30pm as it was a smaller wedding. I’m not sure if they grabbed another bridal party at that venue (there are two venues within that one building) or if they lied to cover their mistake. However, after that, I caught them in multiple lies after asking to speak to someone higher up. He routed me to the “CEO,” ***** * ***** ********** *** ******** ** *** *** ***** **** *********** As a side note, the owner (JD) had multiple posts on social media that were derogatory to females and mothers - not someone you would want handling your bid day. They treated me like I was ignorant. I contacted a lawyer who reached out to them, and she told me I had a solid case with multiple witnesses and documents to prove they did not uphold their end of our contract. However, my attorney advised me of the fees needed to file a small claim in the Small Claims Court, which would have been close to the amount of the original payment to 2 Vets and a Limo. In short, it wasn’t financially worth suing them. Overall, my goal in writing this is to warn other customers and brides of this company. They are manipulative and will try all they can to take your money without proper services rendered. Don’t have them ruin your special day or celebration like they tried to do with mine. They’ve constantly deleted my review from ******, and I’m convinced they post good reviews for themselves. Stay away from this company!!! They are not an accurate or positive representation of our honorable veterans.2 Vets And A Limo Response

Let’s clear a few things up here. 2 Vets and A Limo is a small Veteran family owned business. Our team is passionate in providing exceptional service. This is how we make a living and why we are still in business and have very satisfied clients. I believe we have a deep misunderstanding about that day 3 years ago. Several assumptions were made in this post, such as assuming that we, and I believe your speaking about our team at 2 Vets and A Limo, are manipulative, trying to “take” people’s money without proper service rendered, trying to ruin people’s day, do not represent honorable Veterans. This is extremely disrespectful. There was misinformation about the owner. You mentioned a JD and I’m not sure whose profile you looked into but you may have meant Jc. Jc is the owner of 2 Vets and A Limo and has a wife and 3 children, no “short term girlfriend” just to clear that up. Also it is impossible for us to delete reviews from Google and post positive reviews ourselves. Our recollection of that day 3 years ago is a bit different. Your chauffeur was asked to bring someone in your party back to the hotel to grab something left behind. I’m not sure where the taking someone to a bar story came from. As far as the return taking 45 minutes, I cannot speak on because I no longer have those notes regarding that day. I do apologize if this caused you stress while you all were taking photos. In the future we will no longer make extra special trips outside of the itinerary because of the potential problems it may cause. The end of the night trip I remember the chauffeur calling because he had been waiting outside of the building for quite a while for your group. There was altercation outside the building and the police were involved. Several people were intoxicated. The chauffeur confirmed that the people he was transporting were part of your group. I apologize if there was a misunderstanding with that. I do believe we could have come to reasonable terms in your favor if we could have done without the yelling and foul language we received on the first phone call pertaining your complaint. I wish it could have worked out differently. It would never be our intention to ruin a clients big day! We are not perfect. We’ve made mistakes and we continue to grow and learn from them. I’m disappointed with the attack on our company, the entire team, and slander against the owner. We employ very honorable Veterans and will continue to serve our community with integrity and honest intentions.
