We hired home instead to take care of my dad. They sent a different person every day and they were all young people that spent the day on their phones instead of watching my dad. Then they sent someone who was doing a good job but he was always 30 minutes late or more. Then recently he didn’t show up at all. After an hour and a half someone else from home instead showed up to watch my dad. But right after she got to my house the agency called her and told her to make sure he is dressed and dry then leave after an hour to go to another client. I’m pretty sure this would have been illegal if she left him here alone. Good thing I was able to be here or things could have turned out a lot worse! This place shouldn’t be in the business of taking care of people!Review from Susan P

Home Instead took care of my mom for a year in 2019/2020 Then started caring for my dad June 2020 Dad was trying to get veterans pension to help pay for caregivers and Home Instead refused to fill out the One Piece of PAper that the attorney needs to send to Veterans to have pension approved All they had to do was check mark the blocks of duties they did for both my parents and Tracy at Home Instead said NO Hopefully the attorney can contact them now and get them to do it Bad business!! We paid them $24 hour for mom and $25 hour for dad There’s no reason they shouldn’t fill out the one piece of paperwork for each parent!!
