            We had a tune up done and then started experiencing some issues with the vehicle sputtering and giving us a low oil pressure light. We took our lexus to Lexus of Louisville to have them diagnose the issue. They kept the vehicle for a couple of days and said they took it apart trying to figure out the issue and the only thing they could find was metal in the oil and that we needed to get a new motor costing thousands of dollars. We thought something sounded wrong per we had just had the oil changed and no metal was found in that oil. We took our vehicle to get a second opinion somewhere else. The person only had the vehicle for two hours and found the issue. The vacuum hoses had been put on incorrectly when it was put back during the tune up. The hoses only had to be put on properly to solve the issue. If Lexus of Louisville had truly taken it apart trying to find the issue the hoses should have been put on correctly from them taking it apart. They lied about finding metal in the oil and tried to get us to buy a new motor unnecessarily. We will not be upgrading our car with them per they now appear untrustworthy. How they conduct their business today affects what business they get tomorrow

            I have been trying for several months to resolve an issue. My back sensors go off non stop. I was originally told that I must have hit something and that I would need body work to fix. This from the sales manager (Simon F*****) who was extremely condescending, accused me of lying and walked away while I was still speaking. I contacted the corporate office and was told that Lexus never inspected my car when I brought it in and that it was a safety issue for my back sensors to keep going off. They also told me that my car had been in a minor accident prior to my purchase. I was then told I needed to make another service appointment to have inspected. I took my car back and this time I was told that the sensor brackets were never installed on the vehicle and was told I purchased the car AS IS. I tried to bring up the fact that we were told that the car was a previous certified vehicle and that my car had been thoroughly inspected prior to my purchase. I asked how would I know that something as important as brackets were never installed and why Lexus did not catch this during inspection. Lexus however stood by "sold as is" versus standing behind their vehicles and could not answer my question. They said it would be more than $600 to fix (for a $25 part on their website) even though I bought an extended warranty that would not apply. I am left with sensors that don't work creating a safety issue for me and neither the local branch or their corporate office will do anything about it. It is very shameful for a company like Lexus to make excuses to not cover an issue and to only care about a customer during a sale. I am a long time Lexus customer, but loyalty doesn't matter.
