I want to send a positive review . Something happened to our oven which was so unusual & I was very upset. I went to the GE website to put in a complaint. They got back to me right away, scheduled an appointment for as soon as possible for someone to take a look, and the technician fixed the problem on the spot. He agreed that he had never seen such an issue before, so it probably was one of those one off things which happens at the most important of times. Very grateful for the good quality customer service, the speed, the courtesy, and the understanding of the customer service rep Judi. Things happen and the hardest part is feeling like a company wont take responsibility, or that they don’t really care about your “little issues”. Having a caring customer support makes all the difference and will definitely keep purchasing GE appliances after this positive experience.Review from Lisa F

Bought a dryer, but after 2 months it stopped working properly. Had to have it serviced 3 times (Feb, March, April) and now again for a 4th time (2nd time in April). Each time we schedule it's about a 2 week wait just for a repair man to come out. Why aren't your repairmen carrying supplies to fix your products. It's dumb to fill out online what the problem is, wait 2 weeks, have the repairman tell us he has to order the part, then schedule a new appointment and wait another 2 weeks. Did we get a lemon? With this much waiting and never having a functioning dryer, why don't you replace it for us?Review from Jonathan H

We purchased a GE combo washer & dryer, worst purchase ever. Service techs have been called 6 times and have been attempted to fix the machine and have admit they are not sure how to fix it. The product is still not working and has water all over my floor repeatedly, has a load noise from a defective condenser, and the customer service department is no help, just keep having service people come with no history of events and not solving the problem. My wife and I are totally disappointed and will never buy a GE product again after this experience, I hope others see this and don’t get scammed due to GE not standing on their warranty and poor customer service.Review from Darlene K

Purchased a new cafe counter depth refrigerator and have had nothing but problems with the model. Fridge water dispenser had problems from the beginning. Sometimes works sometimes does not dispense water. Fridge started having problems 4 months after installation. Door alarm going off continuously, freezer light doesn’t work and water dispenser does not work. I have had 3 service calls over the last 4 months with the tech calling directly into G.E. to change out parts and now all the fridge and freezer do is cool, no longer makes ice. The G.E. technician told the appliance technician to order more parts and attempt to fix for a 4th time before they would consider replacing my barely functioning new fridge. Tried calling customer service at G.E. to complain and that was useless, they said they would have to send out their technician in person and start the process all over again, so bad.Review from Katherine M

I have had a G.E. dishwasher for 3 1/2 years… top rack is turning to rust plastic wearing off… bottom rack just starting… I am singl and only run it about 2 times a week… have had other brand a for much longer and never had that happen. Would not recommendReview from Christa R

I purchased a GE cooktop from Lowes 2 years ago. It started burning internally and is now unsafe to utilize. The cook top visibly is destroyed. They only warranty the product for one year and now they charge a service fee to inspect the product. However, I was told that they will not replace anything if they come out. Therefore, why give GE more money for an undependable product. I will never purchase GE appliaces again. They've lost a customer for life. With the installation and cost of the product, I spent $1000. $1000 is a lot of money for something to last less than 2 years.Review from Harvey W

I bought a GE Profile dishwasher on Nov. 15,2022. One of the clips that holds the heating element in place came off. A repairman came out to fix it and I was told the problem could not be fixed as he could not solder the clip back in place. I called GE and was told that rust caused the part to come off and that it was not covered under warranty. It is so ridiculous to me that a dishwasher be manufactured with a part inside that could rust and the company takes no responsibility to fix or replace the item. Zero stars or negative stars would be an appropriate rating for this. I couldn't even file a complaint on this website because the dishwasher is over 1 year old. I will never buy a GE product again and hope that whoever reads this will think twice about buying from GE.Review from Jacob S

I bought a ge profile washer it broke after less than 4 months. Trying to use the warranty and they’re saying it could be 2 months until it’s repaired. I have a wife and 3 kids and don’t really have the time or extra funds to keep paying laundromats to wash my clothes. Worst products ever!!Review from Don P

I purchased a Cafe refrigerator in February 2021 and the compressor went out 2 years and 10 months after I purchased it (Dec 2023). A compressor was shipped but it was missing parts in the box so another one was ordered and it too was missing the same parts. Customer relations got involved but nothing has changed, another compressor has been ordered but has not arrived. May 5th I will have been without my refrigerator. I don't know what corporate can do but I'm soon going to have no option but to buy another refrigerator. Regards, Don PorterReview from Stephanie E

Absolutely horrible customer service and does not stand behind their products. We bought a brand new GE fridge/freezer and have 13 repair appointments within the first 7 months of owning it. GE has continued to refuse to replace it although every part to fix the issue has been replaced, some more than once. The ice/water doesn’t work and goes out within 2-3 days of repair every single time it has been “fixed”. Complete waste of money and time. I will NEVER be purchasing GE appliances again. It still isn’t working and I’m still fighting for them to hopefully make it right. Every person I’ve talked to on the phone has had a bad attitude about it. The service line people speaking to our technician at each appt have all been horribly pissy. Nothing positive to say about this company.
