7/10/2015 I put in an order for on March 9, 2015. I received a confirmation for one part of the order a few days later with no indication about the other part of the order. After contacting Hancock's I was told the fabric would be in in early April. I never received the fabric, nor heard from the company. I have had to reach out to Hancock's three more times to check in, I have never heard from them. It has now been over four months and I again reached out to them and today cancelled my order. I am so disappointed with their customer service I will not ever shop this site again. All I received from customer service today when I called was that they were sorry that I was disappointed and that customers know when they order a batik fabric that it may take a long time. That is a BIG assumption because I didn't know that.
This customer had a NEGATIVE experience with this business.
This customer WOULD NOT recommend the business to a friend, family member, neighbor or colleague.

We try hard to relay as much information as possible regarding the arrival of backordered fabrics. In this particular case, the backordered item is a hand dyed batik made in Indonesia. We have an open order with the manufacturer, but rarely get updated on the status of production of these fabrics. The lead time varies drastically as well creating the long delay you experienced. 10/9/2014 Hancock's of Paducah used to be a reliable online retailer, but not any more. I submitted an order in July 2014, for three pieces of fabric. Only with repeated prodding and email inquiries did two of the pieces finally materialize, in late August. I was told the final piece would ship in mid September. Now, it's October 9, 2014, and I still don't have my fabric. I've been emailing and have not received any responses. This is the last time I am ordering from them. I started buying from Hancock's in 2002 and have spent hundreds of dollars with them. But from now on, I won't even consider shopping with this company, which clearly is spiraling downward.

Comment from the Business We informed our customer that this fabric was out of stock. We had been told it was to be expected in September. As it turns out the fabric, which was made in Korea, was delayed until October 16th. Our customer was informed of the delay. There were three email correspondences. by on 10/9/2014
