      This company is affiliated with or has same owners with company Durabox that sells mail drop boxes branded by them through multiple resellers including Amazon.

      Earlier this year we purchased 3 drop boxes from DuraBox through Amazon for apartment complexes in *****.
      The drop box model we bough was:

      Everywhere this product is listed, it's advertised as SECURE (they use caps).
      Specifically, they say:
      SECURE - Features a tubular style key lock with 2 tubular keys that are difficult to copy. Security baffle on drop slot prevents fishing, and a continuous piano hinge on the retrieval door makes it difficult to pry.

      Shortly after we installed them, checks and money orders for more than 17k dropped in by tenants were stolen from two out of three properties over the weekend. We have informed the seller in writing on 7/4/22 providing full details and police reports that their product is NOT secure and money orders were pulled out using technique called "fishing" against which seller claimed the boxes were protected. Our letter sent by certified mail as well as notices sent through web sites and emails were ignored. We spoke to the representative at digitalbuyer.com and were promised that information sent through web forms will be passed ** the management. Nothing happened.

      Out of 17k stolen, we were able to recover 7 and still have a loss of 10k.
      We lost it because of false advertisement by the seller and reliance on false claim of security.
      We request a reimbursement of losses and for this product to be removed from sale or removal of the claim about it 's security.
      If this will be ignored again, next step is letter to Attorney General and lawsuit.

      Terrible, terrible, terrible. I ordered an item 23 days ago for WILL CALL pickup. I received notices that they were preparing to ship and that they would advise. I emailed to let them again know that my order was will call pickup. Digitalbuyer.com said that they would find out status. Several emails and a couple of phone calls later, they still don't know when I can pick up my order. I cancelled my order and requested a refund. Lets see how long it takes them to refund my money.

      We apologize for the delay on this. As you were told, the manufacturer experienced a cyberattack on their network. This halted all their operations and wiped out their system. They are still in transition of trying to get their system up. We have no control over that and we apologize for the inconvenience. I see that the refund process has been started and you should receive a confirmation of that within 24-48hrs. Once again I apologize for the inconvenience and I apologize on behalf of the manufacturer for their issues.

      Actually Jason, only TODAY when I called that I was I told there was a cyberattack. On Day 23 after my order was placed. I was advised 9 days ago that the manufacturer's system was down and they were not able to provide status or ship dates. I again advised that this was a "will call" order, not a shipping item. I was told I would get a call back tomorrow (9 days ago). When I called again three days ago, I was told I would get a call back tomorrow with status. I never received a call back from your company at all as to status of my order. I was on the phone with your customer service rep when I asked her to cancel my order. I requested an email acknowledgement to my request. Your company's official response was: "We have reached out to the warehouse to cancel this order. Within 48 -72 hours we should receive a response. Once we have that info we will reach out again." You just wrote that I'd receive a confirmation of the refund process within 24-48 hours. So which one is it?? A response to cancel my order within 48-72 hours or a confirmation of my refund within 24-48 hours? Please advise as I'd like to know. The inconsistency in follow up, lack of communication, contradicting statements both verbal and written, and lets not forget that I did not receive my order from a local warehouse here in CA is the validated reason for my complaint.

      What I ordered Was not what I received. They sent different product than in picture. Items came half full because they leaked. Did send replacement but still came in awful shape. Said they don't have item in picture so they should not have the picture on the website. False advertising!!! Very disappointed because wanted the actual product I ordered! Will not shop with them again.

      DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER.

      Product took a month to arrive with defectives. Instead of giving a replacement immediately, they are making us to file a claim with the manufacturer. And they made process is extremely tedious, instead of asking all the questions at one go. They ask us 1 question per day on the defective product. So far, it has been a week since all the multiple question/answering emails back and forth. We still have not heard back whether/when we will get a replacement.

      And the manager is always on phone and you will never get a chance to speak to him/her. You will never get a call back even you request for it.

We imitated and took care of the claim with the manufacturer and never asked you to file a claim with the manufacturer. We are already scheduling the pick up and return of the item and refunding you.
