My husband has been a member of Kinecta for eight years.Since we were in need of a home equity loan and thinking that a being a longtime member would possibly make it a little easier to obtain a loan, we started the process. Boy, were we wrong!!From the beginning, we were required to supply a copy of almost every document that we have. We were on the phone and computer supplying sensitive information for hours and days. We have been scrutinized above and beyond what we considered humanly possible, almost to the point of harassment for over one month. As an example, we sent in information that had a different computer generated number on page two and because it didnt exactly match page one, we had to resubmit the entire form!We had three different people come to our home including the appraiser and two notaries. One of whom appeared at 8:30 pm to get yet another signature when we assumed we were finished. It seems that all that we did, signed and submitted was never enough! Even though our newly-constructed home turned out to be assessed at almost double the value of the loan!This process involved more than a month of grueling procedures before we were finally informed that it was actually approved. For all these unnecessarily stressful reasons, I would not recommend Kinecta for a home equity loan.Review from Anthony D

DO NOT JOIN!I have been a member for over 8 years, and my parents even longer. When they merged from Xceed to Kinecta all service went out the window. Doesnt matter how long your loyalty has gone with the same credit union.I have had numerous car loans and always have been 100% on time and paid in full. Last September I ruptured my Achilles, lost my job, and went behind on my bills. I spoke to a representative to deliver my vehicle in instead of repossession since they were not willing to help at all. He convinced me not to do it, and urged they are very good at helping even though I had explained their service went to ****.At 1:30am they repoed my vehicle..Thank you for the help, the lies and heads up Kinecta. Over 8 years of perfect standing and you treat me like that when times are tough?Dont ever join them. Stay far away.Kinecta Federal Credit Union Response

Worst bank every. All they want to do is charge your for everything. The dont notify you of issues with a payment or balance they just tack on a fee for inconvenience. I hate this this bank poor customer service and they dont try to help you in anyway. Will be taking my business to chaseKinecta Federal Credit Union Response

BEWARE in dealing with this bank! They will have conflicting minimum payment dues on paper statements vs their phone pay or app with no-one working there able to give an explanation why. If I hadn't looked at the paper statement for this month I would have not been aware I owed an additional *****. When I called in I was on the phone being shuffled around from one agent to the next for over two hours NOT ONE PERSON able to help me. They are THE MOST rudest individuals I've ever encountered in my life! Wait a dog gone minute here, I explained, you have the audacity to get mad at me because I'm trying to get clarification on how much money I OWE YOU? This is just ludicrous! Every single person I spoke with (probably a total of 5 reps) had me in tears and by the time it was all over had my blood pressure 163/107! I literally felt like I was in the twilight zone! Please think twice if you're thinking of going with this low budget credit union for any of your banking needs as they obviously don't appreciate their customers!Kinecta Federal Credit Union Response

Kinecta Car Note payment customer service is soo bad the disrespect is out there! I refinance my car through Kinecta a year ago, in my name, gave to my wife, we both call in and they refused to take her payment even though I was on the line, we've been calling and paying monthly, however they keep changing their payment rules! We're sick of being treated like low class citizens when we call in, & being on hold for 45 minutes just to say they can't take the payment, when this happens their Rude as ****, I'll never refinance with Kinecta or use them again, if you don't want headaches trying to pay your car note, then never use Kinecta, wife and I will refinance with another bank since Kinecta doesn't care about customer service with wait time's lasting 45 minutes or you just get disconnected, today since 9am we've been trying to pay,because we won't risk online pay since becoming victims of identity theft, but Kinecta doesn't care, we're so ****** at how we we're treated & I'll never recommend Kinecta to anyone until they change how they treat customers, to retrain their employees so they can help those calling in for help, without the rudeness, So if you don't want to be treated like your not important? Don't use Kinecta! P.S. Kinecta I've ask & asked for help, but this is how your customer service is, basically nonexistent Retrain them how to treat customers. I have had my account for 39 years. I worked for Xerox in **** and at that time it was called Xerox Federal Credit Union (XFCU) in ********** **. My account has gone from XFCU to Xceed and now Kinecta. Since Kinecta took over I have had nothing but problems. I have escalated them to the Executive Offices however, the problems continue to get worse. Four weeks ago I pulled up my on-line banking; my available balance was $0. Someone had completely wiped out my savings account. On August 1, 2023 there were 2 small "test" withdraws of .29 cents, and .34 cents; then a deposit of .63 cents to offset the two withdraws. They were from a USAA bank account. I did not immediately see them because they were done in my savings account, not checking. I have NEVER given anyone my routing number and/or account number for my savings account. The next day there was a huge withdraw from Kinecta to the same USAA account and they completely wiped out my savings; they took it all so they had to of known the dollar amount that was in my savings account. The only saving ***** was timing. If I would not have pulled up my online banking when I did my money would have been gone and I would have had to deal with NCUA. When I seen the balance of $0, I immediately called the Kinecta Executive Offices. Although the available balance was $0 the transaction was still "pending" so they were able to shut down all of my accounts, causing the transaction to cancel. Kinecta told me someone set up a USAA bank account and processed the test transactions. After they went through, they set up a ACH withdraw to take my entire life savings! It was transferred to the same USAA bank account. Take your money somewhere else as it is apparent that no one at Kinecta is looking out. For those who rated them a 5, you should have met the old XFCU staff; ****, ******* and ******! They were great to work with. I am a platinum member and NO ONE was looking out for my money. We have an HSA at Kinecta through my wife's employer. I have to say this is the most disorganized and incompetent banking organization we have ever dealt with. There are constant problems with our accounts. Even the simple task of activating a new Debit card turned into a issue. RECOMMENDATION: Stay away at all cost.Review from Joyce W

Having issues with my direct deposits. At least one has been returned. **************** has not been able to get in touch of the department responsible. Things sure have gone down hill from when it was ****** Credit Union. Time for a change.Review from Michelle J

Horrible customer service and response time. The chat reps and the ********* give conflicting information about the status of certain transactions.
