I did a kitchen renovation with Advanced Builders and Contractors with **** as our project manager. The kitchen turned out incredible! This was my second kitchen renovation and I would recommend ABC again without hesitation. All of the different tradesmen that worked on the kitchen we're of exceptional quality, they did fantastic work, and were incredibly professional. Best aspects were probably the exceptional project management and communication. We always understood how long everything took and how scope changes affected our work. Theres was no wasted time on our project. **** was true professional, always had a good attitude, and always got the right answer and resolution. He had zero project fatigue and kept the momentum of the project all the way through completion. The price was also great and there was no upselling, or design pitches for things that would have made his job easier. We just gave him our specifications and he executed beyond our expectations.

One word to sum up my experience with them would be transparency. **** was very transparent with us from day one. He would always give us options, he would always tell us about time, he would always communicate with us, he was more of a friend than a contractor. Out of the contractors that we met he was the only general contractor who was willing to bring on a kitchen designer at his expense to give us different design layouts for the kitchen. We ultimately ended up using the designer and not just for the kitchen but for the rest of the house as well. **** was diligent with his work and very self-sufficient; he didn't need any orders and I felt he had everything under control. Once we would decide on a particular item, immediately the preparation and installation would begin. I'm sure there are plenty of general contractors in the Los Angeles area but I'm glad that we picked advanced builders and contractors with the direction of ****.

The best way I can explain my experience with this company is that everything was done marvelously. One thing **** promised us from day one is that we will get custom work. That's exactly what we received - custom remodeling in all matters of the project. **** helped us hire a custom cabinet maker. They did custom kitchen cabinets, linen closets and our bathroom vanities. Next we needed custom doors and windows since our house was so old and we had to fit all sizes, so once again **** helped us hire a custom door and window maker. Since we have a large space and the flooring runs through pretty much both top and bottom level and we didn't want to rip out the old woods, we had to hire someone to make us new custom flooring to match the old one that they had put in close to 90 years ago. We also ended up redoing all of our electric lines, plumbing lines, drain lines and gas lines. **** helped us hire a plaster specialist who was able to duplicate the plaster texture that they had done many years ago. He also was able to help us find the company to duplicate the old plaster base and ceiling molding. Because this was such an old house and large house we had to get the right contractor to be able to do custom remodeling work. **** was able to find us all the local specialists who work on older homes and are able to duplicate the quality and craftsmanship of what they had used earlier on. We had a lot of woodwork which needed to be customized not just installation but also custom making the actual moldings from scratch. One of the best things about **** was that he had the answers to a lot of our questions. But what I like most about him is that he didn't get scared from a challenge and in fact pursuited head-on. If there was something that he didn't know he wouldn't just say well that's not my problem. He would go out of his way to help us find the right person or company to be able to do that. I'm truly grateful that we were able to find **** and his company to be able to help us renovate this property. The house looks marvelous but the best thing about it is that you can't tell that it was done now it still looks like it was built 100 years ago. What **** was able to do for us was that he gave us great ideas to be able to keep the old charm of the house but still update the house where we have a smart home and smart thermostat and the ability to be able to control a lot of different aspects from our phones or tablets. I truly believe that we spent a premium on this renovation. But it was definitely worth it because the house looks marvelous and the property values since we have done the renovation have gone through the roof. **** was definitely the most expensive contractor that we had interviewed but he was also the most understanding and the most caring. Also another great thing about him was that he was always accessible to us. Whether we called him, texted him or emailed him he would always get back to us immediately. I have heard of horror stories from other clients and contractors. I'm glad that this was not our experience.

Out of the four contractors we interviewed. Advanced was the only contractor which was the only one who recommended that we get approved plans for a project before they would proceed to give us a final bid. This didn't really make too much sense to us as we were thinking what difference does it make anyways at the end whether we get plans approved or not why can't these contractors give us a bid now. What we soon came to find out was that advanced builders and contractors were one of the only ones who wanted to be extremely thorough and not just guess at a price but be specific when it comes to timing and price. Because as you see once and only once you have a proof set of plans you can be rest assured that each contractor will be bidding on that same exact price using the specific method that was designed by the engineer I thought out by the architect. Advanced builders and contractors also recommended that we get a designer on board from very early on so that she could narrate what designs we wanted to incorporate into the architect's plans. This also seemed redundant at this point but we took their advice and boy are we sure glad that we did. They were right on all accounts, they were right when they recommended that we get our plans approved, they were also right when they said that our soil engineer should speak to our structural engineer and have all of them be on the same page from day one. They were also right about hiring a designer since we had specific remodeling needs that we wanted to incorporate into the set of plans. It seemed like the other companies who were not urging us to get plans approved wanted us to sign with them which didn't make too much sense because they had no idea about any of our design elements or how the final project will come together without any specifics of architectural or structural. Which also brings up the question of they had no idea of how they would build our project. Then how would they know what kind of remodeling elements we wanted in the project. How did they know what kind of soil we had. I am glad that we listen to Advanced. It became very evident after we spoke to these four contractors that advanced was the winner. They had our best intention from day one and they wanted to make sure that they bid the project properly. Highly recommend!!! :)

So you're looking to build you new dream house, renovate your current property, fix your business space? Don't want to deal with hundreds of company's promising the same story with different price quotes? Let me put you on to a company that take all your stress of building a new house and make it seem like a breeze. It became very evident to us very quickly that we needed a professional general contractor and not just a flight by night construction company. When we first started our search we were talking to handyman then he became very evident that they wouldn't be able to help us so we transitioned into finding a construction company but the restrictions with them was. Not all of them were willing and able to take on such a big massive project. That's when our architects recommended that we speak to a general contractor who would be able to do many scopes of work under his company. We looked online and looked at many different platforms I looked at different websites and even apps. Eventually we narrowed our search down to five general contractors that were all based in the Los Angeles area. We met with all five general contractors. They were all good but we felt a different type of connection with advanced builders and contractors and ****. He was the only ones that said I will bring you a kitchen designer and he will pay for it just to be sure that we get the kitchen that we were thinking of. He was the only ones that said I would be willing to take your calls and questions even if you don't hire me. He was the only one that was willing to spend unlimited time with us and good quality time with us just to make sure that we were comfortable with him and his construction company before we signed the contract. He explained to us what he has done as a general contractor over the past 15 years and what type of experience he brings on to us as a general contractor. We had two very informative meetings with him before our plans were approved by the city and probably another two or three meetings after our plans were approved by building a safety. Ultimately at the end we went with advanced builders and contractors because of their willingness to stay within our budget and timeline. Also we felt a very strong connection with advanced bills and contractors because everyone they would send our way seem to be a professional in their field. Our experience with **** was very unique as you didn't feel like you're going to McDonald's and it seemed like everything was personal tailored to our project. As soon as our plan was approved by the city we started and about a year later our house was pretty much done. That was a big deal to us because it was in the middle of this crazy covet pandemic and **** was still able to guarantee our project to be done with the one-year time limit he had promised us. At this time I would like to thank **** and advance builders and contractors. I would also like to thank the numerous people that worked on this project with us. It's crazy to think I'm only one year my DREAM house would be ready and have the keys handed to me because I put my trust in this company. I know I made the right decision and I know where I'm going next time.

Our first builder completely went off on his own without consulting us on so many details. He wasted so much time and money with the architect and engineer and wanted to build the house with his own design which was not the vision that we had for our home. After numerous attempts to get this builder to listen to our designer we finally gave up. It was a costly lesson but we learned a great deal. A friend of ours had just built a house with ABC. It seemed like it took them the same amount of time to build their house, that it us to do just plans. I was furious with the last builder and architect and I just wanted a fresh start. ABC was different from the first day we made contact with them you could tell they did things differently. They were prompt to answer our initial phone call, made an appointment right away and gave us the best fit architect and engineer for our project. And explained to us why they would be such good fits for hillside projects. From the day that we met Nick we knew that he was a competent builder. He knew exactly what details to put into the plans and what details that we should leave out of the plans so we get a quicker response from the building and safety. His recommendations were spot on. He hired the right contractors for every scope of work that we needed. It was like an army. There was control everyone knew what to do and when they didn't they would speak to their superiors and find out what the correct steps were. What I came to find out is that every builder does things different, and just because they tell you they're going to do what you want doesn't always mean that they will. Our first builder was very hard-headed and it was very frustrating to deal with him. We lost so much time and money with our first builder. With Nick things were different he actually listened to us and gave us his input on a lot of things but ultimately he would always say I will build your home the way you want. So many of the final designs came from Nick. What I loved about him is that he would listen to our ideas and tell us the good and the bad. He was open-minded and he wouldn't just rush through the meetings. Nick and all the ABC staff thank you for the support and service. We look forward to seeing your future success.
