  • According to BBB files, this company is in the business of selling auto parts and supplies. Our records show that the company has a pattern of complaints concerning consumers not receiving refunds on returned items, cancelled orders, or orders that were ultimately out of stock, even after consumers were promised a refund. The BBB contacted the company in regards to our concerns about the amount and the pattern of complaints we have received. On April 1, 2015 the BBB received a response from the company stating the company has taken steps to address concerns, steps that have been implemented for the last six months. The steps include the following: 1) The company has defined and implemented a set of core values that will help with customer service. 2) The company has re-trained the entire staff and provided formal training materials. The company also states they have invested in phone software that gives the company call-recording capabilities to have supervisors monitor phone calls and give agents feedback. 3) The company also states that on December 15, 2014 they changed their procedures for handling customer transactions. Prior to that date, they had been charging customer credit cards up front. Since that date, the company now requires an "authorization" up front on the credit card, but won't actually charge the card until the item has been verified that it is in stock. If it's not in stock, the company will immediately contact the customer and let them know when the item is expected to ship, and let the consumer decide whether they want to wait for the product or whether they want to cancel. If the company cannot reach the customer, it will be considered a cancellation. This will help reduce the amount of returns.
