At the heart of every trustworthy marketplace are entrepreneurs creating businesses that will transform and enhance the communities they serve. The Spark Award is a BBB award program recognizing trustworthy entrepreneurs, startup founders, and new business owners. Throughout Arkansas, we hope to recognize and welcome those business leaders demonstrating the three C’s of trust: Character. Culture. Community.

The BBB Spark Awards recognizes business owners 35 years old and under, OR business owners of any age operating for less than three years, who demonstrate a high level of character, generate a culture of trust that is authentic about its mission, and connect with their community.

• The Spark Award is open to for-profit and 501(c)(6) membership organizations of all sizes located within the BBB Arkansas service area. 
• BBB Accreditation is not required.
• Must have at least a "B" rating with the BBB. (No rating? Contact us!) 
• Must have been in business for no longer than three years at the time of application submission and/or have primary owners less than 35 years of age.
• All financial obligations must be met and in good standing. 
• Cannot have any current government actions or be the subject of a BBB investigation. 
• Government and non-profit, charity organizations are not eligible to submit an application.

The BBB Spark Award recognizes emerging businesses that strongly commit to ethics and integrity.
