At the heart of a trustworthy marketplace are entrepreneurs creating businesses that will transform and enhance the communities they serve. This award honors individuals who reflect BBB’s Standards for Trust including Honesty, Transparency, and Embody Integrity, among others.

About the application

Elligiblity requirements:

  • Business must be located in Minnesota or North Dakota
  • Business must be started in the last five years of 01/01/23
  • Business must be Accredited or in the process of becoming Accredited with BBB of MN & ND

How to apply:

  • Businesses must fill out an online application here.
  • Applicants must enter the required information about their business and answer an essay question.

The essay:

  • In approximately 500-1000 words, applicants must describe how their company displays trust and embodies integrity, answering:
  1. How does the company display trust with their consumers?  
  2. What core values does the company live by?  
  3. How has the company proven to operate with high integrity?
  4. Provide examples of how you have built a trustworthy business.
