2025 Students of Integrity Scholarship recipients

BBB serving Mississippi would like to congratulate the 2025 Students of Integrity Scholarship recipients.  These students were selected from over 200 applications.  All three recipients achieved high academic standards, show leadership both in school and in their communities, are involved in volunteering and embody integrity in their daily lives.

Laneice Kincaide is a senior at Meridian High School.  She is the daughter of Vanessa Kincaide and the sister of Orlando Kincaide.  She has developed a strong passion for marketing and plans to pursue this passion by attending Mississippi State University this fall as a business major.

During high school, Laneice interned as a marketing assistant at MAX (Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience).  She has been involved in several organizations, serving as a leader in Theatre as Secretary, Student Body Government as Historian, Crown Club as Secretary, and DECA as Social Media Chair.  She has also participated in F.L.O.W.E.R.S., Archery, Tennis, Beta Club, National Honor Society, Wise Cats and more.

Braden Overby is a senior at Simpson County Academy.  He is the son of Paul and Sarah Overby and is the oldest of four children.  Upon graduating, Braden plans on attending the University of Mississippi and plans on pursueing a major in public policy.

Braden is his school's Student Body President and is a member of Simpson County Academy's cross-country and track and field teams.  Braden enjoys participating in numerous extracurricular activities.  Outside of school, he reads about current events and art history.

Pete Peebles, a senior at Leake Academy, is the son of Ben and Ashley Peebles.  He is an active member of the Leake Academy football and golf teams and has participated in Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  Pete has also served on the Leake Academy Student Council and earned a spot on the Headmaster's List for four consecutive years.

Pete has also participated in leadership and volunteer roles outside of school that include: Mississippi Boys State Delegate, Mississippi House of Representatives Page, Leadership Neshoba where he served as Vice President, Neshoba County Love Out Loud, and Open Arms Food Ministry.

With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Pete co-founded the successful small business JP Handmade Candles.  After selling his portion of the company, he currenlty works as an accounting intern at Prince Oil Company.

Beyond academic, work, and volunteer efforts, Pete is an active member of the First Baptist Church, were he contributes to the audio/visual team and the Youth Leadership Team.  This fall, Pete will be attending Mississippi State University to pursue a degree in accounting.
