About the scholarship

Established in 2022, the Students of Integrity Scholarship is designed to award five graduating students in Stark County a scholarship based on the morals and principles of both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Better Business Bureau of Canton. These two organizations reward their members with a status unlike any other.  Both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and BBB have the word “Integrity” weaved throughout their organizations. They honor the “Heroes” of the game. They celebrate achievements.  But more importantly, they give back to the community.  That is why the Students of Integrity Scholarship is so important to us.

Beginning October 1st each school district in Stark County will be given the opportunity to nominate a student who exemplifies the qualities that emulate both of these fine organizations. Administrators, teachers, coaches, and others, will have the honor of presenting someone who they feel has shown these values and will continue to uphold them for the rest of their lives, in whatever field they choose to follow. 

A $2,500 Student of Integrity Scholarship will be given to five graduates who plan to continue their education either in a four-year or two-year program at a university, college, trade school, or a paid apprenticeship program.

A panel of judges made up of representatives of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Better Business Bureau will review all submissions and select the five winners. All winners will be honored at an event in early February.
