Legacy Remodeling is a 37 year old local, small business owned by Jeff Moeslein. His father, Ken Moeslein, first started Legacy Remodeling in 1987 with a simple mission in mind: to "do the right thing." At that time, the business was known as Swing Line Windows, but as the company evolved and grew to offer additional products including doors, siding, tub and shower products, a new name was needed that didn’t limit it to just windows. This is when it became known as Legacy Remodeling. Jeff, as the second generation owner of the company, felt this was the perfect name since he believes the business is a reflection of himself, his family and the outstanding employees who are together creating their own Legacy by delivering great looking, long lasting home improvement projects to customers.
Through respectful and honest treatment of others and the execution of quality installations, Legacy Remodeling has received hundreds of 5 star online reviews, customer referrals, an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (which they have been an Accredited Business of since 1988), and has earned numerous awards in recent years including but not limited to Top 100 Remodeler in the Country for Replacement Contractor Magazine, Angie's List Super Service Award, ProVia Platinum Award and GuildQuality Guildmaster Award for Customer Service.
According to Jeff Moeslein, President of Legacy Remodeling, "Being a Finalist for the 2024 BBB Torch Awards is a wonderful recognition of our employees' hard work, commitment to serving our customers and community with the highest level of care, and our efforts to maintain positive and strong relationships with our clients, community, suppliers and each other."
Torch Awards judge Akwasi Opoku-Dakwa, Ph.D. states, “I was impressed by Legacy Remodeling’s investment in employee training to achieve trust and reliability in the home improvement industry, which has translated to high customer satisfaction and referrals.”
“I believe Legacy Remodeling’s effort to build strong and transparent relationships with their customers is a great example for other companies,” says Torch Awards judge, Min Geiger, Ph.D. “The company’s dedication to helping and supporting the Pittsburgh community is impressive.”
