Future Leaders Summit Program

Students set up market-style booths to sell their products/services (Bakery, selling baked goods or artists selling their artwork) and share business ideas (think lawn-care services, custom crafts, tutoring, and more). Guests can browse, buy, place pre-orders, and talk with founders about their models, pricing, and plans. A short pitch block spotlights standout ventures, followed by open networking with peers, mentors, and community members.

Limited to ~30 student ventures to keep the experience hands-on and high-quality.

Hands-On Skill Building

You won’t just study entrepreneurship—you’ll build it. Using the support provided, building the foundation of a mini go-to-market plan. You’ll also prep booth materials and a 60-second "elevator" pitch for the Summit in November—so people can leave purchasing a product or buying into your idea.

  • Pitch (60 seconds): who you are, what you sell, why it’s worth it

  • Display: tri-fold board, poster, or laptop with photos

  • Samples, demos, or products on the table

Examples:
• Baker—labeled baked goods, price menu, Venmo/QR code.
• Landscaper—flyer with name/logo, services + pricing, a “Book Me” sign for pre-orders.

Who Will Be There

You’ll talk with local business ownersindustry proscollege staffteachers, and community leaders—plus families and friends who can buy, give quick feedback, and help you make connections.

Goal: Go home having sold something or booked a service, with a brand, pricing, and a plan you can keep growing.

What You’ll Leave With
