This company left several hundred dollars of damage to my driveway and lawn while reroofing the neighbour's property. They brought heavy equipment across without our permission and despite 3 calls and a letter with photo proof don't even have the professional courtesy to respond. ** *** *** **** ******* ****** *** **** * ****** *** *** ******** **** **** ***********Review from Peter K

I had a small leak in my roof and started looking for a roofer to fix it. As I was looking on the internet I started seeing a lot of ads (targeted ads) by D'Angelo roofing and sons so I gave them a call. They came out to fix the leak but I was told I needed a new roof at a cost of $31,000.00 plus tax. The sales pitch was that they are professionals. When they came out to replace the roof it was all unmarked vehicles which raised red flags that they were a sub-contractor. The roof was poorly done, at areas they did not replace the broken ice shield I also saw them covering an archway over the old shingles and I was told that they were just covering the area from the rain, yea right. There were 2.5 boxes of nails and some air vents left over after the job and was told I paid for them and they are mine. I also had to buy a large magnet broom to collect all the nails left behind on the grass, I guess they did not have enough tarps. The following winter I noticed a leak in a small overhang. When I called them they finally came out and told me that they would come in spring and see what is causing the problem. When the guy came I was told it was ice damming it was my problem, a problem and was told to get electric coils to rectify the problem. So now I have to get another roofer to fix it. * **** **** ******* ****** ** ********* ** *** *********** I would never use this company again and anyone looking for a roof do your homework it will save you money and headaches.Review from George M

Will NEVER use these guys again. Had them replace my roof on our Bungalow in Stoney Creek October 2017. Four years later 2021 we were having trouble with our Dryer, called a guy in to look at it. He asked me about the venting, I told him the vent tube and vent were replaced when they did the roof in 2017. He asked if he could go up in the attic to check, once up there he called me and asked me to come up. To my surprise 3 of the 4 vents (dryer, MB ensuite, Guest Bathroom and Stove) were just laying in the insulation not hocked up. Where my dryer vent was there was black lint everywhere. So lint, moisture from our shower, 6 jet jacuzzi tub had been blowing into our attic for 4 years. I called Dangelo and said under the circumstances I want a Mold Expert to come in and check to make sure everything is ok (this Service costs about $1500.00) they refused and offered to come hook the vents back up and their guy will inspect it. Not surprisingly he found nothing wrong. No apology, no partial refund...nothing. * **** **** * **** *** ** **** Now I'm wondering why they are calling themselves Hassle-Free Roofing, Dangelo got a bad name now?Review from Henry B.

We spent over $60K for new shingles, soffits and gutters July-Aug 2021 Shingle job was fine but aluminum work was terrible. Purchased the new square box design at additional cost but the product was half-baked. They installed it knowing the system had no pre-made end caps (like all other gutters have) they just screwed on a piece of aluminum & bent the corners to finish it. I protested the result and Matt assured me it would be rectified. Additionally, a specific area of the soffit was not fastened properly, I could push my hand up through it. This was one reason we needed new reinforced soffits as raccoons were getting in through the soffits. Sandro assured me their system would fix that problem. Also a 20 foot downspout was installed crooked and a sprinkler head in the garden was crushed by their ladders. All deficiencies/damages were documented and sent to Matt, Aug 6,2021. After numerous emails and text messages, I finally got this reply from Matt on Aug 13th "We are in the process of getting this rectified for you as we had our technician sent out from our service and warranty department and now they are scheduling again to have this addressed and looking into what will be the best solution for you with the eavestrough. Frank our operations manager was looking after this and that is why you haven't heard from me directly. I will make sure you have a response by Monday. Sorry about this extra delay. We want to have it done right for you." They managed to straighten the downspout but that was the extent of their efforts. Due to the soffit not being fastened/installed correctly, this spring raccoons gained access once again. I reported to them w/ images. This was their response: "This is not covered by our workmanship warranty" "To repair the soffit and add additional access prevention measures, our cost is $990.00, but as you are a returning customer, we can reduce the cost to $768.00+HST." This is totally unacceptable. This needs to be corrected at no cost!!Review from Katarzyna J

I replaced roof and evestrough in 2018 ...paid 14 000 $ ...bathroom vents never installed ... mould roof shifts never replaced like promised by Seles person (Ian) ... and evestrough are leaking ... contact D'Angelo numerous times and nothing .. one of the "repair " crew said evestrough are cut to short on connection overlap and you need to replace whole evestrough is right way to fix it but deangelo wont do it ...

Bad company... did not apply underlayment on roof even after i complained while they started the job, told me i did not need it and 6 years later found out they did not install drip edges before applying shingles!!!!Review from ED H

Ed H Signed a Siding Proposal on August 28, 2020 to replace damaged vinyl siding on upper front of house cased by squirrel(s). Proposal was a Limited Lifetime Warranty Luxury Package. The work was started the second week of December 2020 and completed approx 10 days later. I was assured that the squirrels would not be able to chew their way into the vinyl again. On June 29, 2021 I observed a squirrel chewing its way into the new vinyl at the exact location as previously. I contacted the Project Supervisor the next day and left a message on her their cell phone to call me back which she did about three days later when a wildlife specialist was mentioned. Over the next week I tried to make contact with D'Angelo again, and sent photos of the damage done and left messages to please return my telephone calls. I would like someone from D'Angelo to come and at least try to determine why the project failed and offer any advice.
