      GCR is the worst company to provide rebates. I signed up to open ********** account using GCR Promo - everything was done as per requirement. I aso received ********** Debit card - activated the accounts. It been 6 Months I never received credit from GCR. Jennifer at GCR is ********. She is not at all helpful. Jennifer need to get some customer service course on how to deal with clients. WOrst company to deal with - never going to deal with GCR - wasted my time.

      **************************************************. I took a chance and used their referral link when applying for The Platinum Card by **** and low and behold they did not give me my rebate after getting approved. They make you wait 3 months after getting approved and you must be very diligent with checking to see if you receive any deposits from them. Of course nothing will be deposited into your account after 3 months in which then you will have to contact the credit card issuer to get an application reference number to prove you were approved. Then to top it all off you must wait another 3 months while they investigate. The process is convoluted and it is much easier to seek a referral link when applying for a new card via r/churningcanada (https://www.reddit.com/r/churningcanada/?f=flair_name%3A%22Referral%20Thread%22).

      P.s. I also referred a colleague to use Great Canadian Rebates for their **** ******** ******* Card. You're supposed to get a 10% kickback from your referral's rebates after they are approved. Guess what, that wasn't processed either. Again I have to walk my colleague through the process of calling **** to get the Application Reference Number. They will most likely also be forced to wait another 3 months to get their rebate. A $50-100 rebate isn't worth 6 months of your attention.

      This person clearly does not know what he is talking about. We do not make you wait 3 months. We ask people to submit an inquiry within 3 months. Usually credit card companies have a 4 month limit. This person's application was reported to us by ****.. However, the approval was not reported to us by ****. That is ****'s fault. This person clearly waited too long to let us know he was approved and now we have to break rules to try and get him the rebate. The process is still in progress. As for the 10% lick back he mentioned. That is the responisibilty of ****. Not GCR. Again they are likely not following the rules set forth by ****.

      There is a minimum 58 day wait to get your cash back rebates because we need the time to track returns for purchases and to collect money from the merchants.

      I even made the inquiry a few days after the 58 days to give them the benefit of waiting out the process.

      The REAL take away here is that this business doesn't take feedback well and instead chooses to lash back at their customers. They could instead do an internal review of how they can make the process easier and not have the same error come up over and over. You can clearly see that this is a mistake in their process that everyone comes across. Instead of correcting it the business owner just calls his customers stupid and puts the onus on them. Poor customer service ***********************************************************

      We went beyond the regular process which **** imposes. We contacted **** and explained the application was reported but not the approval. They processed the rebate individually as opposed to doing them in the monthly batch. The member has now received his rebate. The rebate was never in jeopardy. The member appears to object to the process that **** has to process a transaction that was not properly reported. We cannot control how **** wants things done..

      This applies to rebates posted. There isn't an issue if you do not understand the site. The issue is lashing out before the process was complete. We are looking out for you. It is not our fault the approval was not reported. Under this situation we do not get paid either. Patience is all we ask.

      They do not give out the rebate as promised after opening a credit card through their website even though I follow the steps and process and the card has been approved over 4 months ago.

      This is a rather odd accusation. It has been a record year for rebates. Furthermore, Peter C. has received 5 rebates from our site for credit cards. This includes the one he is complaining about. The rebate in question was posted to his account on July 27 which was in the timeframe we said it will be posted. The rebate was then paid to him on August 28 by a gift card.

      His only complaint to us was he did not get his rebate by July 1st. We are not in control of when Mr C. receives the rebate. It is determined by **********. They are the ones issuing the rebate. Our company just delivers it.
