      ** ******* *** I went to Staples to print, sign and scan Immigration Government documents. When ** ******* needed assistance the customer service rep JAY from PRINT ****** *** ** ******* *** said they don't print government documents. He refused service ** ** *******. This rep was not wearing a name tag and we had to go to the manager. ******* *** ****** ** ******* *** ******** ********** *** **** *** ******* ** ******** Another rep helped us no problem.       On February 12/24 I placed an order for 3 toner cartridges (2 different printers) $467.00 as tax season is approaching. On February 12/24 I received an email stating my order would be delivered on the 14th. On the afternoon of the 14th, I received another email apologizing, and that my order would be delivered on the 16th. By 5pm on the 16th, no delivery. I called their Customer Service, and was told there was a problem and that my order would be delivered within the next 48 hrs. I called Customer Service again on the 20 and once again told there was an issue with the Shipping Department and give it until the end on day on the 21st. I called on the 21st, and spoke to a manager (customer service), who informed me that their system showed my order was to be delivered on the 14th. She would have to contact the shipping department and get back to me. I offered to stay on the line, while she contacted them. Her response, sorry we don't have their phone number, only an email. I enquired whether they were a "call center" or Staples. It was actually their Head Office. I have 2 emails from them with delivery dates, their own website says the order was fully shipped. When Head Office did respond back, all they did was refund the amount with no explanation, and offer me a $40 credit, if I reorder the same items (on line) and I have to forward to them the order #, and then they will adjust the order amount. How can this be deemed acceptable business practice. They have held my funds for 9 days, lied to me 3 times, have incorrect information on their website, and then after it all, just a refund, with a coupon if I reorder through them again??

      I bought my first **** computer online. in the advertisement didnt say it was refurbished. When i got in my hands after 2 times with a delivery delay I was able to pick up the computer at North Vancouver location, but for my surprise the cover was scratch and signal of lots of use. I call the customer service and they said I can not return the computer because was more than 14 day I had bought it. But it was first day that I put my hands on it. Now after 10 days with the computer in my hands the battery is dying all the time. ** * ****** **** ** **** **** * *** ******** I just want return and my money back. **** *** ** ***** **** *** ****** ** *** ************* ** *** *******

      Faulty laptop since printing very slow; ********* *** program not able to print at all from the ********* **** and ****** Improper installation of above on brand new laptop at Staples store in Waterloo on Ira Needles Blvd; Service terrible since the above problem from beginning when purchased in August 2023 last year, but store did not want to fix it nor give me my money back. Only advise was to deal with ********* myself which gave no result whatsoever since no live person or chat line available when contacted them on the internet - after 1.5 hrs of trying to get some service. This is the worst service from a business which I have supported **** ********* ** ******* ** ********* ** *** ***** * **** **** ******** ** ** ********* ** ***** * ******* ********* *** ** ***** **** ungrateful business.

      Shopping at Staples today I was charged a higher price at the check out than what was displayed on the shelf. When I asked the cashier about the "Scanning code of practice" she had no idea what I was talking about. I asked her to call her supervisor. When the supervisor showed up she said Staples does not participate in the "Scanning code of practice". So to all other consumers out there be very careful at the checkout ** ***** ** ** *********** *** ******* if you are charged a higher price at the checkout that what is displayed on the shelf.

      This review is for Staples.ca shipping. Be very cautious. I ordered a couple of wall prints (pictures). Imagine my surprise when they came totally unpacked for shipping … no box, no wrapping paper, and the item was not even wrapped in plastic to protect the print so both prints came damaged. One has nicks in the surface and the other one has rub marks and scratches, in both cases most likely caused by other items hitting them during shipping. The other item I purchased was just in an unpadded soft plastic envelope. It’s a water bottle, and luckily the manufacturer’s original packaging is a sturdy cardboard tube, otherwise it would probably have been dented. If these items had in-store pickups options, I would have gone that route, but that option wasn’t available for any of them.

      This review is for the Staples store in Richmond, BC, on Sweden Way. Usually if possible, I try to avoid Staples, but as my wife's package was sent here for holding at *****, I had no choice but to visit. I went to pick up the package and the person at the counter said I am not allowed even though we have matching addresses. (I also brought the ***** doortag). I was baffled as the official website of *****, both the US and Canada version of the website (**************** ) states that anyone with the same address as the recepient can pick up the parcel. I thought it was just because the person at the counter was new. It completely baffled me when she spoke with her manager, and the manager also said no. After more deliberation and showing her the official rules of *****, she released me the package. The person at the counter that helped me originally said those are ***** rules, but "this is staples". I had to let her know that as an authorized ship centre, Staples handling ***** has to abide by the same rules. A store simply cannot make up its own rules for each individual store. After I finally received my package, the person asks me if I wanted to buy something... Are you kidding me? Not only was this location illegally holding my package hostage, they also expect me to spend money in their store after.. Seriously.. I had to speak with the manager again afterwords to let he know she cannot make up her own rules for ***** simply because she's the manager of the store. Really as manager, she should have really known better. Oh yes, at some point the coworker beside the manager tried to stop me from talking to her. I don't know if he's suppose to intimidate me or what, but I wasn't yelling and I was talking in a calm tone, never once did I yell. Please do better.

      Staff have no customer experience. Had a passport photo done , went to passport office and they would not accept it due to bad quality . Went back to store , did not receive an apology . I was only offered my money back or a new photo , even though they made the error . Since I was on a time crunch to get my passport in for renewal , I chose another photo which took 3 tries . The manager assisted me at the end , no apology still, marginally passable photo . Really poor customer service . As a customer you put your trust that they know what is an acceptable photo to Passport Canada .

      *** ******** ***** ******** ******* ****. I bought a brand new laptop and ************. When I got home it said this key code has already been redeemed. I have been back to the Staples store five times (an hour and half drive each way). They finally refunded my money on the ************ on Oct. 26/23 so I purchased the ********* ****** **** *** ******** When I tried to load this program I got an error and it won't load. I phoned the store again and they said the manager would phone me back. He did not. I now want a full refund and take my business somewhere else. ****** ***** ********* **

      Ordering nightmare! Ordered a laptop from staples.ca and selected Ajax as the pick up location as the store had 3 units in stock. Went the next day to pick the laptop only to be told your order has not shipped. I specifically selected the store during the ordering process because the store had 3 units in stock. To my disappointment, the store clerk informed me that i had to wait for the laptop to be shipped from **********. As an alternative, the store clerk offered the laptop in stock to be purchased at the store for full price and cancel the online order. IF i had proceeded with this process, i would of had to purchase the laptop twice.... The clerk then created the invoice charging me full price for the laptop. I indicated the laptop was purchased on sale. The clerk did mention that she could price match. Staples has the ability to price match with themselves!!! To avoid a further mess, i declined purchasing the laptop from staples TWICE and left the store without a laptop i just purchased. Unreal. Staples customer service has failed. Would have had no issues if i just left the store with the laptop, Ajax staples replenishes their stock with the online order and I would have been a happy customer.
