In June of 2020, I sent my Simplicity riding lawn mower, that was purchased from this store, in for repair. 4 weeks later (mid July, 2020) I called for a status update, they had to ask me again on what the problem was as it hadn't been touched in those 4 weeks. Towards the end of July 2020 they returned it, but couldn't get it off the trailer as it hadn't been repaired properly so the driver took it back to their shop. The same thing happened again around 2 weeks later. The next time I would see the machine would be June 17th of 2021, over a year from my initial call for repair. Within those 11 months I called repeatedly about the status of the mower and the repair, but was only given lip service about how it would be "finished next week". Eventually, I would simply ask them to return the machine back to me un-repaired. Both times I made this request they did not return it. After my last call to them, it was finally returned to me on June 17th of 2021. They claimed it was repaired and an invoice was sent. I called them and made it clear that I should not have to pay the invoice based on their prior behavior. After that I heard nothing until they resent me the invoice yesterday. I was able to use my machine 3 to 4 times before the issue I wanted them to fix started happening again. Additionally, the invoice only include an "amount due" number and says nothing about what they did, and includes incorrect dates. Decorah kawasaki had my machine for over a year, didn't return it when asked repeatedly to do so by the owner, and is in the condition it was when they picked it up. Decorah Kawasaki's behavior in this situation has completely unreasonable, and based on that, and because I'm not exactly sure what I'd be paying for, it is completely unreasonable for me to have to pay this ****.
