In March of 2022 we filed taxes through a family-owned business. After I went in and made sure they had our direct deposit information correct, the tax preparer entered our home address as the account number that this money would be deposited to (also a Dupaco member). Dupaco refused to go after this man that obtained our funds as the man had already spent the money. They sent us a slip showing us that the money went into the wrong account but blurred the name off of it. The *** sent an inquiry about this and Dupaco stated "Your name does not match the name on the account and no funds are available to return." For some reason when they do direct deposit their system does not flag anything that does not have the account number matching a legal name.

You can have money in your account for them to decline your card then cost you extra fees cause the payment never went through. This is called fraud!!! Actually what dupaco did to me.Dupaco Community Credit Union Response
