We had Concrete by Design add a patio extension in our backyard. ***** was responsive and kind, and his prices were reasonable. His crew worked hard and the end result is very professional looking! I would hire them again for any concrete work.

The patio looked great when it first was installed but within the year the top coating started to flake off. The result was a patio that looked horrible. I contacted ****** at Concrete by design many times over almost a 1 ** period. He either didn't respond or told me that he will "try" to put me on the schedule. In the end he told me "go find someone else".They do not stand behind their work. I hope the next victims do not run into any issues.

I am sorry you feel that way, especially since we had been working with you to establish a date to come and check your patio before you wrote these comments. I will try to post all the calls and text exchanges between us before and after your comments. We work hard with all our clients to keep them happy and we were willing to do the same with you before you wrote these false and unjustifiable comments about the company, which falls into defaming our company wrongly. The facts are 1- The patio was installed more than 2 years ago ( the spring of 2020) and when we finished, it was beautiful as you stated, and finished our work as contracted with you. 2- Every patio needs a normal maintenance by the homeowner, such as washing and sealing which we explained to you when we installed it. 3- Most of your calls where during the winter months, which is impossible for us to work outside, which also, was explained to you. 4- We never had an agreement /contract to serve and maintain your patio for years to come. However, it seemed clear at the time of your initial contact with us that you expected to receive this maintenance for free and covered by warranty. 5- In the last few weeks we attempted to reach out to you to set a date to examine your patio, but you either did not respond or you answered vaguely and were unwilling to work with our schedule. This tells us that you really dont want to fix the patio or resolve the problem other than putting untrue comments about us on the Internet. 6- We are still offering to come back and work on the patio if you are willing to work with us. Thank You.

I appreciate the response. I am rather confused how telling the truth is defaming. I have our text conversations, starting back in October 2021, that contradicts most of what you are saying. It shows that you stated you would come out to look at the patio, which you havent done yet, and that I never asked for anything for free under your so-called warranty. Please get the facts straight.Also, my negative reviews were posted on the internet on May 1st May 3rd and Concrete by Design became very responsive to me on May 3rd.Here are the facts.1.Yes, the patio was completed in 2020 and final payment was made on July 3, 2020 (I still have the check stub). My math makes that less than the more than 2 years you stated.2.Yes, I do maintain my patio and keep is clean and in the best condition to my abilities. From my research, concrete sealer should last from 3-5 years. This is probably based off the consumer sealer that one can purchase from Lowes/Home Depot and not the commercial sealer that is applied by professional companies such as yours.3.I contacted Concrete by Design back in October 2021, fully understanding that they would not be able to complete a job due to the cold weather. I was just respectively asking for someone to come out and look at the patio so that we could schedule the work.4.Agreed that the original contract never stated that you would maintain my patio after the warranty period elapsed. On October 11, 2021 at 10:41am, after I sent the photos, you stated yes will stop by when we have a little time to check it. So, you stated you were going to come to evaluate the condition of the patio. Also, reviewing the text conversations, I never once asked for something for free. So, you are blatantly dishonest in your response. I even told you that I would pay for the service when you told me Are you looking for something for free over the phone. I told you that I just wanted my patio fixed so that I can protect it from further damage.5.You stated that I was unwilling to work with the so-called schedule. Most professional businesses schedule something a week out to ensure deconfliction with regards to both the business and customers schedule. You sent me a text message at 2pm on a Tuesday saying today or tomorrow. Well, I have a job and a family and apologize if I cannot prioritize you over them. Every time you tried to schedule something I responded back giving a time that I would be available and you never responded or accepted the time. At one point I missed a call from you because I was taking care of my sick child.6.From your response here and through mobile communication, I do not believe you are willing to resolve anything. The last communication I had with you stated remove your comments pls. This was directly after I sent you a date to schedule you to come out.Thank you.
