On July 14, 2023 I purchased a 2016 ****** Titan XD. During the sales process I was told the truck was in excellent working condition along with new tires. I purchased a powertrain extended warranty, a few weeks after the purchase the truck went to their service center to have the rear door repaired. Approximately a month after the purchase the truck started making a horrible noise from the suspension and I had two tires rupture, after taking the truck to a mechanic they told me that the truck had some serious issues, the driver leaf spring was broken in half and the driver side lower control arm bolt was broken. I contacted Indy Auto Man and the Sales Manager, ******* was reluctant to repair the truck stating it was an "as is" purchase, after reconsideration due to the safety concern they repaired the trucks leaf spring and bolt, the "new" tires were then found to be discontinued and 2 years older than the truck, I replaced the four tires and they refused to reimburse any of that expense. They had the truck in their service center for 3 weeks. This brings me to December and a check engine light and "reduced power mode" warning, according to the Owners manual this a normal function when the emission system cleans itself, I didn't think much of it until the warning would come on and stay on longer each day until it finally would never turn off. This is now into January, I take the truck to ****** Dealer and they tell me they "know" the truck and that it was in their shop back in June 2023 at the request of Indy Auto Man and ****** gave them and estimate of over $9000 of emission and other repairs. ****** gave me documents that another customer tried to buy the truck in June and returned it because of these repairs. None of this was ever disclosed to me, even after requesting in person and in writing I was wanting a vehicle repair history. I just want the emissions system repaired or replaced by a service center of my choosing and Indy Auto Man cover all the expenses
