I went to 7070 southwest freeway to get my aluminum wheel straighten and was told by Jimmy that it would cost 125.00 and it could be done by closing if I made it there by 6pm.I arrived around 5 .The owner assisted me and told me that Jimmy was at lunch. He then quoted me a higher price then I was told.He also added a rush job fee of 25 dollars.I told him that I could not leave the wheel for days.So he said let his guys access the wheel. After about 20 minutes I ask him what is going on ? He stated let me check. He came and told me that the wheel was warped and it would take until Tuesday to get fixed. I said no ,put my wheel back on my car.He said it would cost me 25.00 for a access fee. He never told me this before he took my wheel off and I refused to pay it .He said I will keep your wheel and I am going to ring you up.I will never go there again or tell anyone else to go there. The place is so dishonest and untrustworthy it is ashame. My God sits high and looks low so that gives me a relief because he will not get away with his dishonest ways.Review from Elroy H.

Didn’t receive the car until 4 months later in October in which he said now I will have to pay for the replacement of the engine surprisingly when we agreed he will have it fixed…I made every monthly payment and came outside from work and my car was repossessed by Henry (usulf) or mark whatever he decide to go by at the moment… now I’m careless out of money and recently just payed for my car note…I want justice because they mistreating too many hard working people.Review from Paula C

I started my unhappy and awful journey with Houston Wheel repair on June 26, 2021 with Jimmy who recommended the services. What was supposed to happen: Blackout Package & Rims (glossed) on a 2013 Q7 Audi. Bill called me prior to pickup (June 30) to inform me that they destroyed the ‘caps’ on my after-market rims. I returned to a mess. No caps, and a sloppy job with the Blackout package. I’ve been back to, #1: Have them touch up the paint job. It still looks awful. And #2: Have the ‘Caps’ put on my rims. 5 days later, I pick up my vehicle with two different brands of Caps. (They were not factory) as indicated by Mark, who assured me they would be factory caps. So I asked for a refund. They would’ve provide one. I then said to (Mark) that I will order the Caps and send him the invoice. I did!!! I sent the invoice on, September 5th… Still no response. I’ve called minimum 3-4 times about the invoice. Total run around by everyone from the receptionist in the office to the employees working there. The excuses keep mounting. *** I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE*** (If I could rate it Less than 1-star, I would)Review from Stacey L

Houston Wheel Repair DON'T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!! Order of events. Its a long one. After reading mix reviews and it being close to my office I decided to take my car here. I had a cracked rim in two places and was losing air. I dropped the car off on the morning of 8\16\2021 at 0930, and was told by my salesmen that it would be a couple days. Why a couple days you ask, my wheels had some curb rash, and it made sense to have them stripped of the black chrome color and go with GUNMETAL Grey. Plus, if you get all four wheels done they offer a loaner vehicle. No brainer. I let Andre know that I have 19 lug nuts on the car. One is missing as I’m getting that wheel bolt replaced by another company. We agreed on the work that was to be done,(gave $100 deposit for the paint ) and moved on to the loaner car. I received a loaner vehicle that was disgusting, had no gas and smelled like a chain smoker lived in it. I mentioned to Andre, my salesmen, do they have one that hasn’t been smoked in, as I’m not a smoker and it stinks. Short answer, No. I took the suv as it would get me back to my office and I would use my other car once I got home after work. Unfortunately\fortunately it started raining on my way back to the office, and that’s when I noticed that ALL TIRES on this SUV were BALD. Slipping and sliding on the highway. I made it back to work safely and call back asking for Andre to give me a call.(no call received from Andre) ?After work ,still raining, as I received no call, I took the surface streets back to Houston Wheel Repair. I located Andre and proceeded to tell him the safety issue with the suv, and that its unacceptable to give one of your customers and unsafe loaner car. I let him know about the BALD tires, and that I needed a different loaner that was road worthy. After some back and forth, another suv with road worthy tires was made available to me. Mind you it still smelt like smoke from Studio 51, (no gas, again). At this point Andre says he meant to call me about an incident with my car. WAIT, WHAT!! By this time the car is up on stands and the wheels are off. Its currently under the shelter, in direct line of site of the office with glass windows. He tells me that someone just walked up got in the car and started going through all of the compartments. One of the workers noticed that that was not me in the car and proceeded to get Andre and they stopped this person. Nothing was taken, as I read the bottom of the receipt of work to be done, and I remove everything of value\personal from the car. I think this is why the second more road worthy car was made available. From that point, I asked that the car remains locked until its actually being worked on. I have an app on my phone that allows me to see the status of my car, and I used it for the next four days while my car was in their possession. I called the morning of the 8\17\2021, to check the status of the cracked wheel, no status was available. I called back at 12pm of the same day and was told that they were working on it now. I called back 12pm 8\18\2021, to check the status. I was told he was finishing it up. I told Andre my main concern is the safety of the wheels, I don’t need the color change, I just need the wheels to be safe. He confirmed that they found two cracks on the wheel and it has been fixed. He mentioned that they are going to start on the color change now of all four wheels and he would call me in the AM. (No call from Andre) So after work I went to see the progress of the wheels (8\19\2021)and was told they needed to cure more. Mind you, when I’m looking at them all four are freshly painted and on the ground. WTF!!?? From the pic with them on the ground, you can see them pealing already. SMH! The guy doing the work (never gave his name) assured me that I could pick the car up tomorrow 8\20\2021 by 12pm. I agreed and came on the 20th at 1pm. At first glance the car looked good, I noticed that I was missing another lug nut. I made Andre aware when I dropped the car off, I had 19 lug nuts, now I only have 18. After some back and forth with one of the shop managers, that said that he took off the wheels personally, and it was missing at the time of him taking it off, he agreed to give me $5 for the missing lug nut. I took it back to work to finish my day. Came back to the car, and while leaving the parking garage one of the TPMS sensors was saying my front driver tire was low. I stopped and got out to see what looks like spray on rubber around the edges of all the rims. I went back to the shop, they took the wheel off and said that they forgot to take off the masking tape and that why it was leaking. They removed the tape (looks like they sprayed more of that spray on rubber as the wheel was oozing black liquid on the ground. Once I got home, I noticed that this black rubber stuff was all now on the paint of my car. I washed my car and cleaned the tires and at this point all tires air pressure was not stable. Now I’m hearing scraping from my rear driverside brakes. Seriously?!?!? Took the car to Christian Brothers to get the wheel bolt and lug nut replaced and see what was making this scraping noise. The attached pictures are what was found with the wheels. When I called to ask a rhetorical question about this happening after a week. I was told their warranty days are Monday - Wednesday. What kind of limited warranty is that? There was no way I was going to leave my car in the care of this shop again.. The shop I took the wheels to get fixed from Houston Wheel Repair, said that Houston Wheel Repair did a bad job of burning the wheels to put on the new paint. That explains the pealing on the first day. 6 chemical baths and 5 sand blasts and now my wheels are as the should have been. The second shop I took the wheels to, said the only thing that was done right by Houston Wheel Repair was the welding and fixing the two cracks. PLEASE GO TO A DIFFERENT BUSINESS TO GET SERVICE Communication needs to be approved upon Customer service needs improvement Quality control needs major improvements I do not recommend this place. ** *** ***** ****** **** ***** *** ** *** ** ** **** ** **********
