      Beware of these scam artists. They will more than double your electric bill in a month's time and continue to do so until you switch providers. Mine went from $300 to almost a $1000 in a month.

      They registered me by phone call. Later I figured out inconsistencies like their rate is different on their web page and on the *************.com I wanted to cancel my subsriction, first call told me "You need to pay early cancelation fee" , second call told me "you don't have to" Further more the first call told me "we offer lower rate (which is not) because like we have agreement with your builder (I don't recall exact words)" then I emailed my builder. They told me "We don't have any ties" Any way, now I am trying to enroll 6 months(to make sure they will not charge me early termination fee) plan which is 12 cents (their offer was 16 cents for 36 months) The lady tried to convince me it is a good rate.... Also, personally the worst part was "I don't want to cut your power" I know it is for good intention but on the other hand this is something like "You cannot cancel because you need us" message . To be honest that remind me February 2021.... Long story in short.... Stay away them

      We are able to honor the 6 month rate that Mr ***** signed up for as he contacted us within his recission period and his contract has been adjust from 36 months to 6 months at his new 6 month rate. No ETF was applied because he was with his 3 day recission period. We have chatted with his broker so that they understand better Mr Duran’s rights as a customer and have also explained to our customer care team as well the proper procedure. Thank you to both the BBB and Mr ***** for allowing us to make this issue right.

      Excellent service and support. have saved $$$ since switching over from a different provider. LOVE IT. Switched over 4 months ago. BIG savings compared to the privious compnay. Who doesnt like to save money?

      I have been with AP Gas & Electric for over 10 years and I highly recommend this company. They have given me a very competative rate throughout these years and the customer service personnel is professional. They make sure to ask me if they are understanding what I am asking for by repeating my question This makes clear communication and better assistance. I like that very much. The last time I called, I asked for my 2022(12 statements), the gentleman was very kind and willing to send them to me right away. I was able to print my statements for my accountant. Thank you for helping me gather my statements.

      They are the worst. I had 2 residential accounts set up with them at the same location. The main house and an apartment. We sold the house in 2021, I called to cancel both accounts. The main house account was cancelled, but the apartment was not. I was not notified by the new owner and the bills apparently continued to be mailed to the apartment. When I realized that the electricity was still on in the apartment in my name, I called again to cancel service. It was not cancelled. I found out services was still on in October of 2022! I called AGAIN to cancel service. I paid the bill that had continued to increase so that it would not go on my credit but tried to dispute it with the agent. I was met with rude, dismissive service. A few days later, a charge on my bank card was authorize to APG&E for a reconnection fee!!!!! I have tried calling and I have submitted the complaint to their customer service with absolutely no response or resolution. I will continue to try to get my issue resolved and a refund for all of the $ paid for a house I have not owned in over a year, but wanted to share my experience in hopes I save someone else the headache. DO NOT USE THEM, there are much better companies out there!

      We have been in contact with Ms *** since she first reached out to us in October 2022. APG&E has sent out a refund check in the amount of $50 to Ms. *** (check mailed 11/30/2022). Our customer care team reached out to Ms *** on Dec 9th 2022, Dec 15th 2022, and again on Jan 3rd 2023 but were unable to connect with her. Our team left voicemails asking if she has received her refund check and if we can do anything else. In 2021 when Ms *** Moved Out her main account the Apt was not closed out. We have no record of a request for the apt. This caused some issues when her renter was no longer paying the bill on the apt. The apt meter was still in Ms ***** name (Ms ******* in our records) and all bills were still being sent to her which meant that she received the disconnection notice and reconnect fee when her renter stopped paying. As a sign of good faith, we refunded the reconnect fee. We are sorry for the confusion but a Moveout or a change of account requires action by the account holder. It was not until Ms. *** reached out in 2022 that we were able to close her account.

      I signed a 3 year contract with APG&E in August. Just a couple months in, at the beginning of October, my service was transferred to another energy provider without my knowledge or consent. After a couple of weeks, I lost power which was when I discovered this occurred along with finding out that APG&E had added a $350 early termination fee to my account. I was unable to find out any information about the new provider or who transferred my service since my name wasn't on the account. All APG&E could do for me was submit a market tract to ****** ***** Energy to reclaim my account although I was informed (after talking to several different APG&E representatives) that this request could take up to 45 days to process even though I didn't have power. The representative who informed this to me stated that I should look to live with someone else or find another place to stay in the meantime. After more pushing for other options, he suggested that I find a different company company to temporarily provide me with energy while the market tract goes through. I was also informed that the $350 early termination fee would only be removed from my account after the market tract goes through. I'm done dealing with APG&E after this, and I have decided to just accept the fee and select a different energy provider. The APG&E representative stated that there was nothing they could or would do to prevent this issue from occurring again.

      Mr ******** account was unfortunately moved away without his consent. When he reached out to us for help he was also without power. Our agent advised Mr. ****** incorrectly which resulted in more frustration. We are working with the agent to make sure they understand and are waiving Mr. ******** ETF as well as have sent him a gift card for his trouble. We are using Mr. ******* call as a teaching tool.
