Vick completed a remodel of our kitchen, butler's pantry and laundry room, earlier this year. The scope of work included demolition, relocating utilities (gas, water, electrical, HVAC), new tile floor in laundry room, laundry room cabinets, refinishing wood floors, installation of appliances, quartzite countertops, redesign of lighting, tile backsplashes, and paint. Vick's in-house crew is excellent - while dust and disruption are inevitable on a project of this scope, they were very good at minimizing both, and did a thorough job of cleanup at the end of the workday. Mr **** and his workers and subcontractors were all very professional and easy to work with. When we encountered some surprises or problems, they were resolved quickly and amicably. The office did a pretty good job of keeping us informed of crew schedules. His subs generally did an excellent job. The laundry room cabinets were are better than the previous builder grade cabinets. The lighting design exceeded our expectations - the lighting improved the ambiance and functionality of our kitchen. The countertop sub was the only one that didn't quite live up to our expectations. The flooring contractor did an excellent job on our walnut floors - they look better than when they were originally installed. We would definitely use Vick Construction again on future projects.

Vick Construction replaced a shower and then did a bathroom renovation for us. They expertly diagnosed the repair of the shower and worked really well with us to do a complete master bathroom renovation as part of the repair. During the process, we decided to move to be closer to the family. They offered to do the make ready work on the house, which was well beyond the scope of our agreement. We learned that the house had problems and they stuck with us through a long cycle of inspections and repairs. Vick offered advice, recommended other contractors, and was very patient with our many questions and needs. They were timely, professional, responsive. Kevin Vick was hands on and Becky in the office was terrific.

Vick Construction was very thorough in their site visits, putting together the estimate and ensuring that we were all aligned in the direction we wanted to go with our replacement fireplace and mantle. Their team came in and isolated the room so that we didn't have any construction dust in the rest of the house, and they were all very friendly and professional throughout the project. They were quick to respond to our messages or phone calls when normal questions, schedule adjustments, or issues popped up throughout the project. We recommend using them for any medium to large home improvement needs.

From beginning to end, the entire Vick Construction team surpassed our expectations. Kevin was always available to talk and would frequently stop by to check on the progress or meet us at appointments if necessary. The office manager, Becky, was also a joy to work with and was in constant communication in regards to scheduling, deliveries, etc. Every single person that came into our home was kind, polite, knowledgeable and cleanly (which we very much appreciated). Not to mention their quality of work is outstanding. We absolutely love our new kitchen, pantry, mudroom, powder room and fireplace. They’re a fun, talented group of people who produce amazing work and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We hired Vick Construction to do 2 full bathroom remodels and create an office space/multi-purpose room in our two-story Sugar Land home. We are so happy we hired them. From the beginning, Kevin, the owner of the company, was extremely hands-on, and involved in all decisions for the project. Becky, the office manager was always available to answer any questions we had and let us know each week what the schedule would be or if there were any changes. Kevin's crew was incredibly professional throughout the project, and their quality and craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. The project was completed in a timely manner. The only delays we had were due to changes we made ourselves about fixtures. Vick construction exceeded our expectations. We love our new bathrooms and our multi-purpose space. We will work with Vick Construction on future projects!

We were one of the families who had pipes burst in the February 2021 freeze here in Houston. We were given Kevin's name by a friend who was very happy with a bathroom remodel they had done for them. Kevin and Becky responded immediately. Kevin had crews over to help with demo/cleanup and assess the damage. We were able to get the contract signed and get to work very quickly. They really were able to help with everything. We ended up basically replacing 50% of the house including almost all the real hardwoods and most of the walls/ceilings. We are very pleased with the results. We added a closet for my wife that she literally stares at she's so happy with it. The crews were very careful and respectful of the neighborhood. I received zero complaints regarding anything from my neighbors. That may sound small but I know multiple people who have had issues with parking or nails/other materials and dealt with headaches from neighbors. In the end we were out of the house for a little over 3 months. I have many contacts that were out almost 5 and some who are still not home. Our punch list was completed addressed to our satisfaction and I was pleased with the overall responsiveness of the company. Finally insurance, Vick does not deal directly with insurance (I do not blame them...) but due to their excellent documentation/invoicing and Kevin coming out to meet with the adjuster to show the work done we have not had any problems and expect a complete recovery (obviously your mileage may vary depending on your insurance). In summary, I would recommend Vick in a heartbeat.

I requested Vick Construction to install electric lights in my kitchen cabinets. The upper cabinets have glass doors which would allow me to display some cherished keepsakes. The lights that Vick Construction installed will now highlight and draw attention, just as I always wanted, to these beautifully painted China plates that were cherished by my dear husband. Derek, Vick Construction electrician is an expert! The electric wiring is hidden, virtually invisible! After the work was completed, Derek, cleaned his work areas, leaving my kitchen clean, neat and organized. Derek was also very respectful in answering my questions, he was a very friendly and kind worker. I truly enjoyed our conversations and the time he spent working in my home. I highly recommend Vick Construction for any home renovations and remodeling. The owner, Kevin Vick and his staff, set the bar very high in providing great customer and client service. Mrs B.
