I took my Nissan to Missy Nissan on I10 in Kirkwood because my AC was blowing hot air. Instead of charging my air conditioner, they said there was a heater core leak and a non-working compressor. They quoted $ 2800 to repair the heater core and about $ 2000 to replace the compressor. I knew the compressor was bad and they told me they didn't know what he was talking about. I declined the repairs and took the car to a 5-star repair shop. I noticed on the way that the air conditioner was blowing icy air. They diagnosed the car and said there were no leaks or compressor issues and charged me a normal diagnostic fee. Mossy was going to scam me out of almost $ 5000. They are scammers and crooks. Never go there!

I just want to let everyone who will listen to know that Mossy is a scam! They lie to you and tell you things to make you purchase their vehicles and their "extended" warranty. I purchased a Maxima, and wish I didn't, where they said that they were giving me a great deal, and it turned out that they did not. Further, they talked me into purchasing their extended bumper to bumper warranty that covers, nothing that breaks, apparently. I recently had a like undercarriage skid plate that has plastic clips holding it in place come off and dragged on the street. When I asked if this is covered under the warranty, the GM and the service representative said no, you probably hit something to have it jarred. It is just plastic clips holding it in place. I said, I hit nothing. I have had a lot of cars in my life and have never had this happen. Just my Nissan Maxima that comes with a standard warranty of 35K miles. That there really should tell you that Nissan does not even believe in their product. Nevertheless, I was told it would cost me over $400 to replace it! What car company has a skid plate thing that comes off?! Nissan!! I told the GM that I would never buy another Nissan, and he could not care less. What a piece of shit this guy is. Do not buy Nissan! You do not get a lot for your money. My car was pretty standard. I should have bought a Kia. You get so much more for your money plus they come with a 5 year, 100,000 mile warranty. I was stupid to buy this dumb car. It is only 4 years old and I have at least a $1,000 worth of repairs. Never in my life have I purchased such a piece of ****.
