We have been members for over thirty years, and when you call they thank you for that however, when I needed them they didnt deliver the service. My car stalled before 1 pm, tried the online way to request a tow but it kept getting the location wrong, so after ten minutes I called. They will send a tow, eta 2:42. Took my contact info to get text updates. Got the first two texts. Went home. Husband went back at 2 to wait with the car. No tow. Called at 3:15, on hold for 30 minutes before I could talk to someone. Shes checked, all the vendors they asked declined the job. However, none of this was communicated to me via the update texts. They were supposedly working on it. If I do t hear from them in 15 minutes, call again. Asked if theres another number because it takes half an hour to get thru, she said this is it. After five minutes I dialed again ( on a different phone). Still no text update. Took a another 30 minutes to talk to someone. This time, Niko, said they are still trying but he will try to call himself too. About 10 minutes later he called that someone is on the job. He will call my husband. *********** called right after that anencephaly 5en the ball started rolling. We finally got a tow truck at 5:00. Four hours later! Im so lucky we were parked in a safe place, even though it was closed. AAA should have done a better job trying to get me a tow truck and communicating what was happening. If they couldnt locate a vendor in the area within a reasonable amount of time they should have extended their circle to other vendors and paid the price. Weve been paying their annual fees for over thirty years, but when I needed them AAA failed.
