BBB urges caution when using Burlington Locksmith Pro

On 06/28/2017, BBB received a complaint about Burlington Locksmith Pro in Burlington and, through the BBB dispute resolution process, learned that the business does not have a locksmith license.

The consumer complaint says a technician representing Burlington Locksmith Pro installed a lock that sometimes doesn’t work and was too small for the door. The consumer says a representative of the company said he would visit the consumer’s home but he never showed up.

On its website, Burlington Locksmith Pro lists its address as 2978 Ethan Pointe Dr Ste 315 in Burlington, NC. Suite 315 does not exist however.

Emails and voicemails to the business for an updated address have not been answered.

The North Carolina Locksmith Licensing Board said Burlington Locksmith Pro is not licensed with its agency.
