The day I decided to go see my 84 year old grandmother with my 1 year old and 4 year old, gotcha towing decided to tow my car leaving us in the cold. I was parked in disabled parking, and had my placard in the window. They towed it anyway, and charged me $260 to get it back. When I called about it the rude young lady hung up on me twice because she didn't want to talk to me. Then I finally get there to get my car and they refused at first and I had to call the police. Then I get in the hut and they have guns laying around like thugs, and the girl at the front called her "muscle" to come in to fight us! I didn't know these thugs actually are known for physically assaulting people and everything! These thugs need to be shut down!Review from Tina M

Crooks. I was visiting my Family at us 29 trailer park in Greensboro they took my car while I was parked for the weekend and took my entire purse out with belongings. I was in shock like where’s my purse. They said they did not know where it was. They don’t know what I’m talking about the door was locked.im just glad I took my $ out before but still had to pay them $275 to get out of tow. This company needs to be shut down immediately.Review from Quinton B

They prey on people who got nice cars in hopes they have money. 5 cars beside mine in same parking lot...they towed mine. Last car in parking lot with nobody beside me so I parked more to the right so cars would have a smooth exit on my left. They towed it saying tires was on the line. The company is nothing but a money hawking get over. With a bunch of black uneducated people working that's unsympathetic of how they do people and their vehicle.Review from William P

This is the worst business on the planet. It’s not the fact that it’s a creepy job to have, but you can’t pay with your card they charged $350 in cash during NC A&T homecoming for a 30 min tow.I was towed from Dominoes pizza on Bessemer after paying the manager to park there.I contacted the corporate office and by the grace of God they refunded my money for the tow as long as I had the receipt. No where on earth can a store manager charge you to park at there restaurant.I learned a lot from this incident.I watched them tow 50 cars or better during homecoming payments all in cash the IRS can’t track that.Shady business that will catch up with them one day…Review from Meyah J

My car was towed during homecoming ! I called to make sure they had my car they told me a price of $300 over the phone when I arrive at the place they added extra money on and wanted to argu about after I said y’all said $300 on the phone mind you I am a female and these were grown men wanting to argu over money , one proceeds to snatch my license out my hand and wanted to go back and forth with me not letting me bring my brother behind the gate with me to get my car for my safety after feeling threatened after getting my car I noticed a dent in the front bumper where it looks to have been hit by the tow hook and they are denying they did that I just want y’all to keep in my my car was just recently fixed from being in a accident last month so I’m very aware of what my new bumper , hood , and frame looks like not only that my car was fresh on a alignment before traveling up here and is now shaking very badly and they are also denying that was there taught after showing pictures and proof of car being fresh out of a quality collision place and out of the dealership for a tune up 2 days prior I def would not recommend this place for nothing they are nasty and disrespectful I’m lawyering up and suing for damages and verbal communication of threats this place needs to be shut down this is not the right environment or hospitality they should be giving college students reguardless of age and or gender .Review from Andrea S

This company is less than 1 star. They don't deserve to even be able to have stars. They need a thumbs or thumbs down option. To make a long story short. They towed my car from a place that I paid $25, dollars to park I went there and showed them proof that I had a parking pass, they claimed the "property manager" called it in. When I asked how much to get my car, these crooks said 400.00 (cash)and then it would go up to by $40.00 2hrs after car has been towed. I didn't understand why they were charging $400.00 but also told people it was $300 when i asked the rude girl gaurding the gate with her life why a different prices she told me that it depends on how long the car was there. And how much property manager charged I've never heard such a bold face lie in my life, the place is Horribley ghetto and nd very unprofessionanl to the highest degree. One girl was very rude, speaking to me as if we were on the street pursed lips, and I think she was chewing gum(really hard). However there was one young lady the night manager, I think her name was Chrystal, Krissy, or something like that. She was very professional and soft spoken as we talked, not once did she show any aggrevation. She gave me her name and offered her cell# (I think.) But she was the only professional person there, oh wait there was 3 guys there who were also helpful and professional and gave me a look like they felt what happened was not right but they couldn't say it. This happened today Sat. 11/23. On Monday morning I'm going to the business that has allowed people to park there during A&T's homecoming I've been parking there for years. I'll be speaking to the owner. (Not property manager) there's no such person. I paid the $400.00 but you can best believe on Monday morning I'll be 2 places for sure, the business I was towed from, Guilford county Civil Court. And calling the Guilford county's attorney General office and file a complaint also. They don't know who I am and I don't play about my money!Review from Brent P

Two separate tows from my apartment complex. Being told one thing from apartment complex and another from Gotcha towing. Was physically assaulted by tow truck driver. Myself and another resident tried to speak rationally to tow truck driver explaining what our apartment complex told us about parking at pool. When we were ignored I acted irrationally by trying to turn off ignition to truck. I was grabbed and thrown to the pavement. The entire back of my head was bruised and swollen, in addition, there were finger bruises where he held me and both my my elbows were bloody and bruised. Did I mention I am a 5 foot 55 year old woman? Police said they cud do nothing because I reached into vehicle and the driver said I hit him. Completely corrupt!Review from Jade G

My car was towed on Friday, July 7th at 3:05 a.m. I arrived to pick up my car around 9 a.m. Though the sign with your company’s information stated the amount could be paid with a card, I was told you all only take Apple Pay or Zelle. I proceeded to send the amount to the phone number via Apple Pay and it was flagged as a scam. I proceeded to ask the gentleman at the desk what number would be best. He called a couple numbers, and I stated that I needed to get to work being that this should have been a very streamlined process. The gentleman then sarcastically said, “Send it to that number then.” I responded saying I would like to be sure the money was going to the correct location. He then finally gave me a number. I collected my car and left. While driving away, I noticed rumbling under my car. I quickly pulled over and called the company, informing them of the noise, unsure if something was left under my car or just broken. The woman on the phone recommended I return so that they could take a look at my car. I followed her directions and told the gentleman at the front what was happening. I also played the video of the noise I recorded while driving. The gentleman walked outside and barely looked at my car. I was able to get an appointment with a local dealership on Saturday morning. I was told that the front left sway bar bushing was not in the retainer and had to have both replaced. I was assured the manager would contact me on Monday morning but never heard anything so I reached out. While finally speaking with the manager, he automatically became defensive not only about the damages his employees did to my car but also about the unnecessary things said to me by his employee and made excuses. He stated that he would immediately review cameras. I followed up with an email today and yesterday and of course I have yet to hear anything back. Obviously, everything I said was true after they reviewed cameras, if they even work.
