February 28, 2017 - BBB files indicate that this business has a pattern of complaints concerning consumers paying upfront for merchandise but never receiving the items. Based upon information provided by customers, it appears Lulutops.com has an inability to deliver goods ordered and paid for by consumers. Since February 3, 2016, consumers report to BBB that they ordered merchandise from the online retailer Lulutops.com, but never receive items they have purchased. BBB has received a large number of complaints that exhibit a pattern of not fulfilling orders placed with Lulutops.com. As of the date of this entry, BBB has received 47 complaints against Lulutops.com and the business failed to respond to 28 of those complaints. It did respond to 8 complaints but did not resolve the issues. In October 2016, BBB contacted Lulutops owner, Ali Amer, about this pattern of complaints. Amer did not address the pattern, but instead stated that he intended to shut down the website because he claimed it was not profitable. The company's website remains active at this time.
