We were charged $750 to do an emergency roof repair on 1/22/24 when I discovered water leaking in my living room. The roofer indicated he found some cracks near the solar panels/flashing and indicated that he could do a temporary fix by sealing the cracks he found on the roof, and would send an estimator in a few days to do a full estimate for permanent repairs. We agreed to the temporary repairs to avoid further damage inside the home. However, during the next rainstorm on 2/1/24, we discovered water again in the same area as before and after we had a remediation company come in and dry out our ceiling and walls where the water was seeping through the ceiling and walls. I immediately called Dependable Roofing back and they came out again to investigate. This roofer indicated the leak was under the solar panels and he could not fix it since the solar panels had to be removed. We asked why the other repairs were made if the leak was not coming from the area they sealed and he could not give us an answer so we called ***** who we were dealing with but we didn't get any satisfaction from him. We then called ************ who installed the panels and they come out and conducted an investigation into the roofing leak. They indicated the source of the leak was in fact under the panels and the temporary fix done by Dependable did nothing to fix the actual leak that was under the panels. Although our contact ***** was responsive in getting roofers out to my home in our emergency, we feel we paid for a job that did not fix our problem (we also paid a higher rate for emergency services). l did write a letter to ***************************, the company owner, on 2/5/24 explaining the situation and requested a refund and/or some type of resolution since they did not actually fix the problem. To date I have not hear back, and thus my reason for writing a negative review. We are senior citizens on a fixed income and paid money for a job that was not necessary!

We just received our roof consultation from ******* and I am extremely disappointed. We have not received the estimate yet, he was sitting in front of our house for 30 minutes before being told to just leave and send the estimate and pictures later. When ******* arrived, he was told to not break any tiles. That is obvious and almost a joke but, since this was our 2nd estimate, I had a feeling that I needed to caution him to not break new tiles since we had already gotten a count of the damaged tiles from the first estimate. When he was on the roof, I could hear him stomping around up there and it even sounded like he was moving equipment, it was so loud. I thought to myself, I know that he is not being so blatant as to allow us to hear him being careless. Lo and behold, unfortunately, ******* was unable to successfully "read the room" and when he came down he told us that DOUBLE the amount of tiles were damages than with our first estimate.I wish that I had read some of the other 1 and 2 star reviews before as some of their experiences sound familiar. One was from a lawyer who said that he planned to ***. Regardless of what their estimate is, their integrity is questionable and I would never use them, especially after another reviewer said that they caused damage to their electrical system. I am sure that the first company I had give an estimate will confirm this when they notice more damage than what they observed.
