I was a customer of Road Runner Transport. Shipping a car from ********* , ** to ***************** I was quoted in an email $695. A day before pickup they jumped it to $ 1050 A day before pickup they changed pickup date four days ahead. That I can understand, but the bait and switch on the price, I consider a scam.Review from Anthony B

Yelp puts positive reviews in a the not recommended reviews bin. They say it's they're algorithm but it's all BS. They're algorithm doesn't take away bad reviews just the good ones. Most of my not recommended reviews either have pictures of my restaurant or names my waitresses. I mentioned this to their pushy sales person and they said they are unable to help. But they want you to spend money with them, what a joke. Regret ever signing up with them, can't even close the account because the only option they give is close the restaurant. I don't want my restaurant marked as closed. Avoid Yelp!!!!!Review from Allen M

It approved this to charge my account 360 bucks when I was trying the free month out to see was it a good fit but instead your rep lied and said I will be credit he seen this before and I didn’t get not 1 cleitn at all I mean at all no one didn’t even try to help me with account When make a call to officer it take over 3 hours to connect with someone I will like to get the credit and I will like to shut down my whole account where I business will not even show up on Yelp system at all I do not like it I am so sorry I tried your companyReview from Travis M

Had reviews given for our religious organization and every review submitted, their "software" took them all down. Some reviews were up for months and they were taken down as well. Called support and they said that the "software" is in control of everything and therefore they cannot do anything. We are very disappointed to see that we have companies like Yelp, with these superior "softwares" that take down reviews, while other compaines like Google keep similar reviews and see nothing wrong with the honest comments of the people in our community. Don't understand why Apple uses them as a reviews source.Review from Kevin B

My business advertising with Yelp was terminated in January of 2024. We closed our business on February 16, 2024. People who were trying to contact us through Yelp reported that our business was closed. Before I could close our account after, our last day of business, I was locked out from our business account. The website informing me that our business does not exist! A potential customer gave us a one star review for not being open and/or suggesting another company to call! We were not even able to contest the one star review as our account was closed. March 1, 2024, we received a charge from Yelp for services we did not receive. I tried to call Yelp and in the auto attendant I had to enter the business phone number. This caused the system to place me on a continuous hold and no customer service representative ever answered my call on hold. I called several times with no success & decided to dispute the charge with my credit card company. The response from the c.c. company informing me that the charge could not be reversed since I did not speak to them first. Fast forward to this month, I received another charge from Yelp, April 1, 2024. I call Yelp, entered our toll free forwarding business number & was placed on hold for over an hour. Customer service answered and said that I closed the account on March 15, 2024 and the two charges were residual. I informed, Melinda, no last name and/or employee number, that I was never able to speak with a live customer service representative to actually close the account or even dispute the first charge. She said both charges were related to the closing on March 15, 2024. My response, I tried to access my account on February 27, 2024 & there was no record that our account was open. Since I was unable to respond to the one star review, I feel that the residual charges were for services that were not rendered! She will have a manager call me regarding my dissatisfaction! I’m not holding my breath!Review from Pavel T

Huge money extorting scam !!! With my small Business we worked hard to keep Customers happy. Managed to receive several 5 star reviews. Yelp kept sending messages for us to sign up and pay them money. Then one day they removed our positive reviews like nothing. How is this ok ? Zero stars!!! Someone needs to look into a law suit against these scumbagsReview from Tamara L

Im a customer. My friend and I ordered food for delivery via Yelp last night. Apparently the cannot due basic math and Im only posting this to warn others as the amount is almost negligible UNLESS theyre doing this to a lot of customers. Per their very own receipt our subtotal SHOULD HAVE BEEN $50 but they magically made it $53. This is of course before the service charge, delivery charge, taxes and employee benefits fees were added in. Im talking VERY SIMPLE MATH here! Its past their phone hours now for me to get my $3 back. I think they do this because they know most people wont follow up on these small amounts. I will simply because of the principle of it! $3 wont make or break me or my friend. The whole ordeal screams of a company skimming campaign as they think most people wont pay attention to that amount of money. This is the only reasonable explanation for whats gone on that I can come up with. Surely theyre using computers to generate their #s and were not talking about people doing math via pen and paper here. Both of us triple checked the math and its blatantly WRONG! Just BEWARE my fellow foodies who order via this site.Review from Christina G

What I think about Yelp is unsatisfying to me because Yelp told me that I they were giving me a $300 promotion and money was not going to be taken out of my account and money has been taken out of my account and I am a single parent with an 11-year-old just diagnosed with type one diabetes, and Im not satisfied with this at all because its making me making me negative in my account. I cant afford this.Review from steve d

I see now that I am not alone in realizing what Yelp is doing. How can they be allowed to continue their racketeering? Years ago I made a Yelp listing for my business. After hundreds of calls from the, trying to sell me advertising packages, I still did not buy advertising. Soon, my listing was no longer there. So, I moved on. No big deal. Recently, I tried to make a new free business listing. I even got some reviews. I immediately got a call for advertising sales. I did not buy advertising, and my reviews are not shown on my listing. The issue is this: The general public considers Yelp to be a source of local business listings, and reviews reflect the business. But Yelp has the unfair ability of giving preferential treatment to some, and biased treatment to others all based on who buys packages. So this is not a fair listing. It is in fact Yelps way of doing some extortion. If they are going to play favorites based on their own income, then Yelp.com NEEDS TO STATE that reviews are a reflection of Yelp sales, not the actual business performance. You see, Yelp should not be given control over the internet, and thus the public.
