In May 2022 we hired this company to do mold remediation on our home for $5,631.00. The company sent a crew out and upon arriving to my house, the employees were sitting outside scrolling on their phone. I go inside to find that nothing has been closed off (contained) and that the crew had sprayed chemicals all over the house without covering up out newly installed ducting (which we specifically told the project manager to do beforehand), the employees were not scrubbing or sanding the framing as I was told they would be. All they did was spray chemicals on our framing of the house and run an air scrubber and dehumidifer. We had been moved out of our house for months trying to get money to pay for remediation because my husband and daughter (8 years) got extremely ill with asthma, allergies, frequent illness, hives, rashes, etc. (ER visits, dr ****** bloodwork, etc.). When I called the project manager he sent a new crew out a few days later, only to find that they were also not properly removing the mold. We did a clearance test through a third party testing that the company referred (I feel like they are partners in this) and it "passed" however upon moving back into the house everyone started getting symptoms of mold allergy and mold illness again! We did some inspection and found a ton of mold leftover in 3 of the bedrooms! When I reached out to them they said they would not re-test or send someone out to fix their work because it was "too late." We moved back in the home in September 2022. They did not do what we paid them for. They offered a $1,000 refund over the phone and the office assistant never called to follow through with the refund offer. The company did not complete the job we paid them for and I feel like a full refund is owed, as we are doing the remediation ourselves at this point and the equipment is expensive and the exposure is unhealthy, but we have no choice because the company essentially robbed us.
