      I ordered three ***** shades and were not able to hang right away and they were for our two guest rooms. The mechanism in one of the shades sticks out when they were down and when they are pulled all the way up; you can not achieve more than one fold and the two drapes in the one room have different dimensions and it is near impossible to get the shades down. My husband who is an engineer for 40 years is the only one who can manipulate them and it is quite embarassing when you have guests and they cannot operate themselves. It takes about 3 minutes to arrange the cord from underneath the shade to get them fully down and in place. You have to use your hands as the cord is not functional so then you have to make sure you have clean hands as you are touching the drape. I contacted them and was told you are passed the 30 days and there is nothing they can do. The first customer rep offered to give me 20% for my troubles as I am removing them and throwing them in the garbage. Well they rescinded and would not offer me the discount, nor would they remake the shades or give me store credit. BUYER BEWARE - THE COMPANY IS VERY DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH AND DO NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT! BELIEVE ME, I DONT THINK THEY WOULD HAVE WENT OUT OF BUSINESS IF THEY HAD TO DIG DEEP IN THEIR MARGINS TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT WITH A FIRST TIME CUSTOMER. DISHEARTENED AND FRUSTRATED!!

      Hi

      We shipped to customer on 04.17.2023 from the warehouse and customer received on **********. 

      Customer contacted us on Aug 27, which about 4 months after received the products.

      Our return policy for custom shades as below

      " Roller and Cellular ****** are considered custom items as they are made to a customers specifications, without exception. Roller and Cellular shades can be returned for a partial refund within 30 days of the receipt of the order. Half Price Drapes will retain 50% of the purchase price for all returned shades."

      We also provided the production video to customer which showed it was working before we shipped it.  

      Unfortunately, when the Roman ****** left our work room they were functioning properly. In addition, this order is outside of the 30 day window for us to assist with.  we are not able to refund it.

      Do not buy from this company. I wasted several hours over several days trying to put an order through, and having to recreate an order due to several issues on their site. I called, texted, and emailed, and still had to call them again 3 days in because no one had contacted me. Their "customer service" is horrendous, might as well call them an answering service, because they don't listen to resolve, even when requesting a manager after 25 minutes of going around in circles with the rep. **** take no responsibility for their site gliches, nor make any effort to make up for the inconvenience or time lost. Needless to say, I canceled my order, an will never do business with them again. Looking at previous reviews, it appears the drapes are very poor quality, and can be found cheaper elsewhere. Buyer beware.

      Please note that the customer was having an issue at her end and could not place an order online. We receive 100's of orders every day, and we made sure it was not a systems glitch. At this time, we are running a promotion on our site where many items are 60% off. She was having issues placing the order than she wanted an item that was not part of 60% off savings to be discounted down to 60% off for her troubles with the website. This was after she belittled our customer service and left a review. She was promptly helped but was not able to provide her 60% off on nonsales items. Hence she decided to leave a bad review.

      They are lying. Horrible horrible company and service. I spent hours searching for multiple different curtains that I had intended to purchase over $800 worth, and had several on my wishlist, once I received the 1st batch pending the quality and the swatches that I purchased as well, but each time when I went to check out I'd put in all of the requested information and each time I clicked on payment method I would get an error message which I took a picture of and also sent to them that said that you have to put the proper zip code state, and country in. I took a picture, and all the information I entered was correct, but the system glitch kept preventing me from being able to complete my order. See attached. Please ensure my review is seen by everyone. Including this response reflecting their lying which simply makes the situation worse, especially since I sent them the picture to show what kept occurring. I called, emailed and texted, no one connected with me to rectify, and I had to call again til I finally got someone to answer. Worst company, doing the worst business ever.

      Every single drape I have in my home is from this company. I moved into our new home 3 years ago. Although very pleased with our bedroom drapes, I was redecorating and wanted a new look and color. Since Half Price Drapes had a sale where all sizes we the same price I decided to go from ceiling to floor. What a difference! It gives the bedroom an elegant look and makes the room seem larger. I now wish I would have done the same in the living room. Next time maybe. Overall, very pleased with both the quality and service from this company. Thank you.
