            Hit and Run by Associated Trucking ***************** Last year, a large truck backed up into my street fence, snapping a bunch of the posts that had been recently upgraded. The truck started to drive away without reporting the incident, and fortunately, a PG&E worker photographed the truck. The driver stopped, and asked why his truck was being photographed. The worker explained and he said he'd come back to fix it, and drove away without leaving contact info. I waited for several hours and then called the company and reported the incident to the police. The driver called back, admitted guilt, and said he'd fix it. Then a rep from the company called and said they'd fix it, but they didn't want to understand that the fence had to be replaced - the posts were snapped out of the foundations and the metal fencing and wood posts were ruined. Now that the total fence has been replaced, they offered to reimburse me less than 15% of the cost. I'm now having to file a claim with the court. The insurance company has a significant deductible. What a waste of time. Please drive carefully - This is not the first time that someone damaged the fence.
