There are very few people who should work with Westgate Renovators or any company affiliated with Westgates CEO ************************* such as *************************, ******** ************ and any of the other companies he uses to move money around. You should hire Westgate if any of the following experiences appeals to you - paying more than 90% of the estimated cost of a project when less than 30% of the project is completed (this by the way is illegal and you should let the **** know when **** does this to you)-having a subcontractor show up at your doorstep to tell you that they stopped working because your (well paid) contractor has not paid him and then listening to **** tell you some fictional story about a lost cashiers check in the mail but then he tells a different fictional story to the subcontractor (I.e., that the homeowner hasnt paid him yet) - having a different subcontractor report that ************************* passed a check for over $10,000 that bounced then having to constantly email and call and text him to make sure that he pays them so they cant put a lien on your house - having your project drag on more than 8 months after promised finish date and **** keeps asking you for money even though you agreed you would pay him the final 10% after he completes the project, and then he wants you to wire him more money but when you say that youll do it after he sends you an invoice, he suddenly stops contacting you because that would generate a paper trail that his employees and partners could see - having him send people to work on your house when, unbeknownst to you, his ********************** policy has lapsed - having him send people to work on your house when, unbeknownst to you, his GENERAL CONTRACTORS LICENSE has been SUSPENDED! There are also complaints filed by some of his other customers (check the **** website - license #******* ) and the **** determination after evaluating them was RECOMMENDED FOR LEGAL ACT - paying an invoice for nearly $100K where one of the line items is $10K for full scaffolding and demolition and then when you fire him, he wont take down the scaffolding and sends you a new $10K invoice for ********************* Scaffolding Tear Down- finding, hiring and paying a lawyer that specializes in construction and contract litigation - you find it entertaining to watch **** struggle to keep track of all the myriad lies and stories that he tells his employees and subcontractors.
