In 2020, I hired Everlast Construction to renovate two bathrooms. During the renovation, the original team made many mistakes due to negligence by the project manager. Every time the ** visited the job (after many calls), there was work that needed to be torn down and redone. Even simple tasks like framing a pocket door had to be rebuilt. Eventually, he had to be fired because of poor ************************* (he just stopped showing up). The replacement team was even less competent than the original one and complained the entire time. The job took 6 MONTHS to complete. Within the warranty period, we discovered a leak in one of our 2nd floor bathrooms and it took 3 MONTHS for them to come out and to start repair. They had to rebuild the shower pan (inadequate support, incorrect drain, staples in liner) to repair the leak, but since then have refused to repair the water damage under the tile in the floor. 4 months have passed since then and that bathroom is still not usable. The floors in both bathrooms have loose tile and the ceiling in the room under the bathrooms still needs to be repaired. This experience made it obvious to me that this company does NOT use licensed tradesmen. Their claim that the actual workers are covered by the company's general license allows them (legally, unfortunately) to use any tradesmen that they choose. They could have 20 years of relevant experience or they could be a random day laborer that they pick up from ********** on the way to your house. Unfortunately, you will never know. In hindsight, hiring Everlast construction was a HUGE MISTAKE. This company does NOT care about the quality of its work as all requests for the owner to perform a site visit have been rejected.Before you choose to work with this company, get the licenses of ALL workers scheduled to work on your job. NOTE: all of my license requests failed. That was a HUGE red flag, but I didn't know better then. Now I do & so do you. Good luck!
